if you refferd to the pitou thing, Gon mostly pushed Killua away because he didnt want pitou to do anything to him, originally Killua and Gon were suppose to fight him

It was good but for me it felt like it dragged on way too long once they got to the palace and tbh I feel like the netero meruem fight could’ve been much cooler. But the end scene with Komugi and meruem was soo damn good like chefs kiss that was a well done scene
[SPOILERS] I cried like a bitch when: 1.two young kids get captured by Chimera ants and the scene where the mother mourn them and reminisce their lives before. 2.when the younger girl reincarnated in an ant form and reunited with her mother. 3.Gyro's childhood story when his father turned out to be a coldblooded motherfcker and how Gyro blindly believed in that douche. Just so sad 5.Komugi wishes to die along Meruem. Most beautiful love story between two completely different kinds. 6.Killua and Gon said goodbye in the last episode. They were smiling facing each other but as soon as they turned, they both had sad expressions.

Only anime I could ever think to be in the same level of hxh is attack on titan. The reason for that is because it has a special place in my heart for being the first anime I ever watched and it’s just a good ass story. And maybe demon slayer. It’s only 26 episodes so idk right now but when the whole thing comes out I’ll see if it could go on there too

Omar Mabrouck they hate on it due to its story and the fact that naruto and sasuke have left everyone behind in terms of raw power, really when watching naruto you should turn your story senses off and just enjoy the action instead of looking for the story, for story people should watch other anime, but they do pour enough money into the action for it to be fun to watch :) its when people start claiming its the best anime ever that problems arise

Why does almost everyone in the comment section hate gon?? Gon obviously cared for killua and stayed away from him because he didn’t want killua to fight a strong ass op ant and Gon was the one who saved killua from his suffering in the zoldyck family at first. Gon did so much for killua and so is killua to gon that’s what FRIENDS are for.
PrimeShan, when Gon confronted Pitou, not only did he accuse Killua of being insensitive and was scaring Killua with his rage but Gon also threatened to Komugi and nearly attacked Pitou while she was trying to save Komugi. While I think what Gon did was fucked up, I think that’s what makes him such an amazing character (cus of how his character changes so much). Watch videos on Gon’s morality, really interesting stuff

@@primeshan3685 it’s cos Pitou was healing Komugi so if Gon was to attack Pitou at that time then that would’ve risked the life of Komugi (the sheer force of the punch to Pitou would’ve made Komugi’s body go flying, Gon being willing to risk this only until Killua stepped in). While Gon clearly does care for his friends and other innocents as well, he’s also willing to cause the death of a little girl, which I think makes him incredibly interesting psychologically because I really do think Gon is an amazing protagonist.
Sad part is that Gon never knew about what Killua is going through, the viewers get to see his thoughts and emotions while Gon stays oblivious to all this stuff because Killua never says or mention anything

Everybody thinks Killua cried because of Gon. Yeah that is true, when you know your friend crying and dying inside, you cry and die too. Gon suffered too much, maybe more than Killua. But in that way, they had to move on and separate. Gon should go to his dreams, Killua should find himself. But don't blame Gon for making Killua cry. He did not want it, he just wanted to protect him.
I think gon went through a lot of pain and he dosnt deserve to be bashed cus he made killua cry, cus tbh he didn’t even know he could not see killuas pain. But that dosnt change the fact the gon is selfish and the killua is very selfless when it comes to helping gon
Gon's pretty selfish for fighting Pitou alone, but I believe it's because of guilt. He thought that he's the one who killed Kite, and that it was his job to avenge him. He pushed Killua away, while not being able to control himself.
It's actually hard for me to say "Oh I love this Manga/Anime" But, Hunter x Hunter has everything the best and perfect.. My one biggest hope is this story will not just stop on there. Like seriously, bring back Killua and Gon together T_T

I cried at Meruem's and Komugi's death, they really cared for eachother I cried at the end of Greed island because i liked the concept and calmness before the storm I cried at Gon losing his mind i cried at most parts after chimera i cried when killua said he wasnt enough I cried when Gon lost his nen i was happily sobbing at Gon's return after Alluka I ugly cried the second to last episode when they parted ways SOBBED REALLY HARD WHEN REASON WAS PLAYING WHILE SHOWING KILLUA AND GON UGLY SOBBED WHEN THE ANIME ENDED CAUSE IT WAS STILL TOO EARLY And many more honorable mentions when Reina chan returned to her mother tearing up from fear over gon being scary af there is probably more that I have forgotten cause im a dumbass

The story literally progresses from "Oh boy, he's catching a fish and riding on a cheerful little boat" to "OMFG this is the darkest deepest saddest thing I've ever seen." The transformation that the series undergoes is nothing short of spectacular.

Trippze I used to be pretty dense and hold back my tears and try not to cry, but after watching a lot of anime It came to me. Holding back your emotions prevents you from experiencing the full effect of what the author wanted you to experience. After crying countless times from anime it made me love the characters more than I did when I didn't cry.
and gon suffered so much for kiting. we can't forget that the two care about each other, but they have 2 different goals: initially until almost the very end of the series, gon's goal was to find his father, and killua's was to stay with gon, his first real friend, and help him achieve his goal by staying by his side. In the arc of chimeras, the 2 experienced horrible things: gon saw the distress and then the death of his parental figure and drove him mad and vengeful. The scene where we learn of Kite's death was also one of the hardest in the series. kirua also hurt him for his devotion to gon (nearly died, but apologized for gon as he couldn't complete his mission) when he felt gon "leave him behind" (when gon said that he was not concerned (because kite was like a father for gon), and he wanted to fight pilou alone)... So we can't say that one suffered more than the other
The writer wrote them all intelligently and gave them a human characteristic, he described all their actions and behavior, put them through stress and reveal parts of themselves they never expect. Its godly level of writing..
I didn’t even know what to feel when i came across that scene, laughter because of gon’s appearance or tears / scared that the fact killua was scared for his best friend and gon losing his life (well almost). :(

This anime made me cry unlike any other. Fairy Tail was sad, I cried many times. Haikyuu has had me cry. Owari no Seraph and demon slayer both have made me cry. But HxH? I remember bawling when it ended. And here I am, crying again bc I miss it so much. Ofc I’m reading the manga but it’s different. I cant begin to express how sad I was that it ended. I cried for a long time. And that is why it is my favorite anime. Just a masterpiece
This is basically how my viewing experience went: #10 - Eh, I'm fine. #9 - Okay ... sadness is coming. #8 - Frick! I'm gonna cry. #7 - Cue memories ... aaannndddd #6 - Tear count: 1 #5 - Goose bumps. #4 - I wouldn't have teared up, but those gosh darned pictures hit me right in the feels. Thank god the ending was hype. #3 - Why must you hurt me in this way? #2 - More goose bumps. #1 - If you'll excuse me, I am going to crawl into a dark hole and continue to sob.
Togashi likes to make us all wait but man...when he does come back, this anime/manga turns out to be one of the best ever. Togashi's one of the best author's I've come across, very talented with story telling.

I had such horrible withdrawal symptoms i cried for 2 hours straight when i rewatched the ending and hearing all these beautiful pieces of music... Hunter x Hunter 2011 was by far the best anime and the only anime that made me love it so much. Its a masterpiece and i dont know when these withdrawal symptoms will go away because its like i just lost the love of my life.

I think the most amazing thing in the whole anime is just the deep bond of friendship Gon and Killua are sharing. That this beautiful feeling this friendship is giving me just results out of the mind of a person makes me really sad, because i´m believing this part of hunter x hunter could just be created when there is a desire to feel so. Well, i hope for all of you guys to let this fictional feelings become your reality by finding a truly awesome person, like Gon did with Killua and the other way ´round. I've found myself one of those. We are currently returning from a week-long trip with nothing but happiness and support and laughter. We have different races, religions, sexualities, political beliefs, so on, and yet we've been best friends for over half my life. When we inevitably end up going to different colleges we have agreed to make it work. Because its that worth it. I'm so glad I've found her. Celina, you my bitch, I lahhh youuuu
#4 Reason Instrumental made me tear. Just a tiny tear. The melody at first, it felt happy yet it's sad. It reminds me of the exam arc, when they gon and killua introduced to each other. But when the guitar played, their journey came to my mind. Everything they did, the path on being a powerful nen user, how they overcome situations, and the lessons they learned. This made me realize how beautiful this anime is, and how amazing togashi writes his stories.
When I read the lyrics it became sad....especially since it was played when Killua and Gon separated. It goes a little like this "I'm right here next to you, and that's all I need right now. Will you tell me more of that dream you were telling me about earlier?"

these sorta songs from animes are reasons why I wanna be part of an anime production using these songs in certain songs to put ppl and me in their feels. BTW my most intense scenes in this show was 1)when killua saw gon hand wen after he killed pitou using that large amount of energy 2)when gone saw kite state and how pitou changed him into a robot 3)when kurapika gave the girl the eyes and had to watch her being all happy with his ancestors body parts 4)when the king continuously asked koragumi if she was still there while they were playing the game in the dark and he was afraid she died 5)when killua said he was gonna leave gon after a certain mission but ended up staying because he knew he couldn't leave bae and live damn it has so much feel moments even with the enemies i became so obsessed with this show its ridiculous

To be able to crave for all these characters and even understand them was a magnificent experience for me. This was goddamn sad conflict. The whole greatness was all these different characters craving for simple things, Reason, Happiness, Silence e.t.c fighting with simple to understand power ups in a really simple and beautiful plot. All these are what most mangaka do wrong nowadays. Too many characters, plotpoints, power levels. Togashi show us and them how to do a legendary story, a masterpiece by saying all these things with an understandable way. Thank you.
I miss this anime so much that I randomly typed “hunter x hunter ost” This is one of the best animes ever and I really wish we could get a continuation of the manga. (But I still have hope , that’s why I’ve been waiting more than 10 years without reading the manga)

in my opinion, i think there are way more emotional scenes such as gon hugging dead kite or gon and killua seperating or even when gon and leorio meet again. meruem and komugis deaths were indeed very very sad but i feel like maybe youre romanticising their relationship too much. well for my personal tastes anyways but im not here to judge. you keep doing you :)
This anime accomplished something that no other show or anything has, it made me cry, like sobbing. even just the song elegy of the dynast has me tearing up now. this anime is the best in history.

+Rebecca Waters All around spoiler comment, don't read if you haven't finished anime, you've been warned: This OST was also used in Chimera Ant arc first if I recall, so I'm pretty sure it's Kite. Especially because he's literally a marionette who Gon and Killua are trying to give back life.
I started crying within the first ten seconds. If I had heard this without watching the anime, I still would have felt moved, but there definitely wouldn't be crying. This anime, though it IS a shounen anime, is filled with so much anguish and despair, so much toxicity and pain. It was all light-hearted and fun, until we reached the Chimera Ant Arc, (CAA), possibly one of the most heart-wrenching, powerful arcs in anime history. Even then, no matter how many jokes they made or how many smiles were exchanged, it seemed that nothing could possibly add a single note of levity. This anime has raised my standards and still stands as my favorite anime to this day.
The last one got me T_T.....hunter x hunter is the most emotional anime i have ever watched, and the first one to make me cry. I cried my eyes out during the chimera ant arc and it almost made me not want to finish the show for fear of more tragic/emotional events but i finished it anyway. It is #1 on my favorite list with KHR (my opinion) as my 2nd and yeah....i dont think i can or will be able to find an anime to rival HxH. ....WHY DID I WANT TO REWATCH THIS? Well im off to go cry my eyes out again...just finished the greed island arc ...T_T wish me luck...

5.Komugi wishes to die along Meruem. Most beautiful love story between two completely different kinds.
6.Killua and Gon said goodbye in the last episode. They were smiling facing each other but as soon as they turned, they both had sad expressions.

Why does almost everyone in the comment section hate gon?? Gon obviously cared for killua and stayed away from him because he didn’t want killua to fight a strong ass op ant and Gon was the one who saved killua from his suffering in the zoldyck family at first. Gon did so much for killua and so is killua to gon that’s what FRIENDS are for.
PrimeShan, when Gon confronted Pitou, not only did he accuse Killua of being insensitive and was scaring Killua with his rage but Gon also threatened to Komugi and nearly attacked Pitou while she was trying to save Komugi. While I think what Gon did was fucked up, I think that’s what makes him such an amazing character (cus of how his character changes so much). Watch videos on Gon’s morality, really interesting stuff

While Gon clearly does care for his friends and other innocents as well, he’s also willing to cause the death of a little girl, which I think makes him incredibly interesting psychologically because I really do think Gon is an amazing protagonist.

Everybody thinks Killua cried because of Gon. Yeah that is true, when you know your friend crying and dying inside, you cry and die too. Gon suffered too much, maybe more than Killua. But in that way, they had to move on and separate. Gon should go to his dreams, Killua should find himself. But don't blame Gon for making Killua cry. He did not want it, he just wanted to protect him.
I think gon went through a lot of pain and he dosnt deserve to be bashed cus he made killua cry, cus tbh he didn’t even know he could not see killuas pain. But that dosnt change the fact the gon is selfish and the killua is very selfless when it comes to helping gon

Trippze I used to be pretty dense and hold back my tears and try not to cry, but after watching a lot of anime It came to me. Holding back your emotions prevents you from experiencing the full effect of what the author wanted you to experience. After crying countless times from anime it made me love the characters more than I did when I didn't cry.

The Chimera Ant arc really showed Killua going through so many emotional moments 🥺. He’s suffered so much for Gon.
and gon suffered so much for kiting. we can't forget that the two care about each other, but they have 2 different goals: initially until almost the very end of the series, gon's goal was to find his father, and killua's was to stay with gon, his first real friend, and help him achieve his goal by staying by his side. In the arc of chimeras, the 2 experienced horrible things: gon saw the distress and then the death of his parental figure and drove him mad and vengeful. The scene where we learn of Kite's death was also one of the hardest in the series. kirua also hurt him for his devotion to gon (nearly died, but apologized for gon as he couldn't complete his mission) when he felt gon "leave him behind" (when gon said that he was not concerned (because kite was like a father for gon), and he wanted to fight pilou alone)... So we can't say that one suffered more than the other

Hunter x Hunter 2011 was by far the best anime and the only anime that made me love it so much. I think the most amazing thing in the whole anime is just the deep bond of friendship Gon and Killua are sharing. That this beautiful feeling this friendship is giving me just results out of the mind of a person makes me really sad, because i´m believing this part of hunter x hunter could just be created when there is a desire to feel so. I've found myself one of those. We are currently returning from a week-long trip with nothing but happiness and support and laughter. We have different races, religions, sexualities, political beliefs, so on, and yet we've been best friends for over half my life. When we inevitably end up going to different colleges we have agreed to make it work. Because its that worth it. I'm so glad I've found her. Celina, you my bitch, I lahhh youuuu
#4 Reason Instrumental made me tear. Just a tiny tear. The melody at first, it felt happy yet it's sad. It reminds me of the exam arc, when they gon and killua introduced to each other. But when the guitar played, their journey came to my mind. Everything they did, the path on being a powerful nen user, how they overcome situations, and the lessons they learned. This made me realize how beautiful this anime is, and how amazing togashi writes his stories.

***** definitely the best ending song too out of the five. i can see why they used this instrumental so much throughout the series too.
When I read the lyrics it became sad....especially since it was played when Killua and Gon separated. It goes a little like this "I'm right here next to you, and that's all I need right now. Will you tell me more of that dream you were telling me about earlier?"
When I heard it at the end I was thinking bout the whole show and everything that happened and I was just balling my eyes out because of the experince I went through watching this show and I think I CRIED WHEN I HEARD THE SONG cause it was the END and I wanted to watch moree

I just finished watching Hunter x hunter and now I am listening to this tears are in my eyes it's the best Anime I ever watched my top one now I remember I watched the old version I liked it a lot however the 2011 version is well done it's amazing all the fights and the friendship parts it so cool and the ost and the songs that are made are also amazing I will never grow tired of this .but it's sad it ended.i don't know know why but i really like there story gon kilua! omg and the parting scene in ep 147 was so sad ! and when the king died in ep 135 was also very sad even though he was evil but in the end he wanted to spend time with komogi huh sad right I will never forget you Hunter x hunter I love you !

these sorta songs from animes are reasons why I wanna be part of an anime production using these songs in certain songs to put ppl and me in their feels. BTW my most intense scenes in this show was
1)when killua saw gon hand wen after he killed pitou using that large amount of energy
2)when gone saw kite state and how pitou changed him into a robot
3)when kurapika gave the girl the eyes and had to watch her being all happy with his ancestors body parts
4)when the king continuously asked koragumi if she was still there while they were playing the game in the dark and he was afraid she died
5)when killua said he was gonna leave gon after a certain mission but ended up staying because he knew he couldn't leave bae and live
damn it has so much feel moments even with the enemies i became so obsessed with this show its ridiculous

To be able to crave for all these characters and even understand them was a magnificent experience for me. This was goddamn sad conflict.
The whole greatness was all these different characters craving for simple things, Reason, Happiness, Silence e.t.c fighting with simple to understand power ups in a really simple and beautiful plot. All these are what most mangaka do wrong nowadays. Too many characters, plotpoints, power levels.
Togashi show us and them how to do a legendary story, a masterpiece by saying all these things with an understandable way.

in my opinion, i think there are way more emotional scenes such as gon hugging dead kite or gon and killua seperating or even when gon and leorio meet again. meruem and komugis deaths were indeed very very sad but i feel like maybe youre romanticising their relationship too much. well for my personal tastes anyways but im not here to judge. you keep doing you :)
This anime accomplished something that no other show or anything has, it made me cry, like sobbing. even just the song elegy of the dynast has me tearing up now. this anime is the best in history.

This OST was also used in Chimera Ant arc first if I recall, so I'm pretty sure it's Kite. Especially because he's literally a marionette who Gon and Killua are trying to give back life.
I started crying within the first ten seconds. If I had heard this without watching the anime, I still would have felt moved, but there definitely wouldn't be crying. This anime, though it IS a shounen anime, is filled with so much anguish and despair, so much toxicity and pain. It was all light-hearted and fun, until we reached the Chimera Ant Arc, (CAA), possibly one of the most heart-wrenching, powerful arcs in anime history. Even then, no matter how many jokes they made or how many smiles were exchanged, it seemed that nothing could possibly add a single note of levity. This anime has raised my standards and still stands as my favorite anime to this day.
Madhouse knows how to make good quality anime.

The last one got me T_T.....hunter x hunter is the most emotional anime i have ever watched, and the first one to make me cry. I cried my eyes out during the chimera ant arc and it almost made me not want to finish the show for fear of more tragic/emotional events but i finished it anyway. It is #1 on my favorite list with KHR (my opinion) as my 2nd and yeah....i dont think i can or will be able to find an anime to rival HxH. ....WHY DID I WANT TO REWATCH THIS? Well im off to go cry my eyes out again...just finished the greed island arc ...T_T wish me luck...
Natsumi Sketch please take my advise and watch fullmetal alchemists: Brotherhood. it never seized an opportunity to amaze me and I consider it to be an just as amazing anime as Hunter x Hunter.
