Yes!!! What a rhytam. Steve is rare fantastyc fingerpicker in glam rock he is heavy and melodic in same time. Great support Marc's guitar. Bill play simple but strong and Mickey conga's is fantastyc support sound of T. Rex.

It’s a testament to Marc’s art and legacy that we’re still here listening.
Was too young at the time, but have been watching a few documentaries about Bolan lately and man, that guy was IT for a while back in the early 70s. Ahead of the curve musically & culturally, and cool af with it. Still sounds great today!

I was raised listening to both around the house 🤣 Mums taste in music is pretty good
Bowie and Bolan were once close collaborators and had a similar style, but they had a big falling out right before Bowie became big… they were both Glam rockers, but Bowie was more successful in his style,….Bolan could not rise beyond the “ electric warrior” album, and slowly went by the wayside….Glam faded in the US in the mid 70s in favor of disco and punk, and many Glam artists faded, except for Bowie who adjusted to the times….Bolan still did well in Europe.
He made so many songs himself that it seems impossible. He was ahead of his time. My first idol.

1972 was such a good year for music, slightly better than 71 but not as great as 70. Love to see this footage after 50 years!

This is film was shot Feb 3rd '72 at the Chateau studios, during The Slider recordings and NOT seen by the public till now. It is not one song; a mix of at least 2 - but footage that was found and brought to you 50 years later ... such a gift for T. Rex fans! xo #kalmiyh

Great to see this unseen footage. I was only 4 years old in 1972. Remember watching the ‘Marc’ tv series on tv in 1977 and was so sad when he tragically died but loved him ever since! Preordered the 1972 box set and so looking forward to receiving it in April. Kalmiyh 🎩🎶🎸🖤
