Yeah, I suppose there are those who prefer to do as they're pleased, not caring about the audience. There can have real benefits in terms of being true to a vision. Like pop music vs. more artsy music. It's all good unless they're making anti-pop music but secretly hope for it to become popular? Random thought.

Very good breakdown! Wow i didn't know you go that deep in breaking down structures of vlogs to see patterns. I don't think so much about structure because it seems like it would take so much extra time, but your videos make me want to pay more attention to structure. Great job, King!
Thanks Daniel! Haha, I'm always interested in finding patterns, and it definitely takes a lot of time. But it's fun to me somehow... I'm glad it inspired some attention to structures. It can really be a great way to make the video making process easier by turning it into a checklist of talking points/shots to cover. :)
Welcome back. Good break down. Never watched the guy. But there have been documentaries and tv shows based on the 30 trial. Always found them interesting. I once read it only takes 21 days to form a habit. 21 vs 30 gives you an extra challenge every 3 times. Food for thought.
Haha, that is true. Perhaps the extra week can help make a habit stick even more? What's kind of cool is that in his series at least, at the end of the 30 days, he has decided to both adopt or not adopt a new habit, depending on his experience.
