Dave Allen must have a granite chin because everytime Dillian landed on Jousha, you could see Jousha felt the punches, whereas Allen stood in the pocket.

Joshua's in a whole different league! Parker looked dreadful in his last fight, and I can see Joshua stopping him in the mid rounds.. Would be interesting to see how Joshua deals with Parker's speed though nonetheless. And with Ortiz it's a good fight, I just feel Joshua is too technically gifted and will pick his clean shots off against a slower big Ortiz like he did against Martin.
You can not use Martin as a measuring stick for Ortiz. Parker, Breazeale and Whyte would have beaten him easily. It looks like Parker the mandatory will get a shot at Joshua so we will see what happens then.

I think the shoulder injury is the issue. He is a very good fighter... I do think at 100% he is world class, but his best shot is the left hook, and he can't throw it.
Finally someone says it. He landed one good punch the whole fight while Joshua was destroying him. If he fights Joshua again he will lose again.

I felt as though Dillian was tiring in the R9/10-He took some deep breaths a few times. Dave Allen looked like he was hurting Dillian towards the end. This should have been a 12 round fight. DA needs to learn to throw more punches.

I was on the way to becoming a 'fan' before this fight. Facts are, Whyte lost tonight: 1. As a boxer, struggling against a durable but inexperienced novice. 2. As a sportsman, refusing to touch gloves with a kid who'd took everything [which wasn't much] that Whyte could offer. 3. As an evident racist due to his persistent digs at Kugan / India / Sri Lanka. That all 3 were entirely within his remit speaks volumes about the man.

Remember Dilli is coming back from a injury so he needs time to get his sharpness plus if he is training differently to how he used to train his body will react differently so will his mind in the ring and therefore will need to try new things to test his stamina as that was the problem before hand.

FACT: Whyte realised Allen was going to be bloody hard to get the hell out of there. He knew he was way ahead in rounds when it went past 5/6 so just knew he had to do that little bit more in each round than Allen. Whyte has serious power but was not going to get Allen out of there and he realised that so post fight he is now saying how he went in there solely to box and look good... Yeah right👍🏻
