Congratulations to them. I lost 110 pounds. It took me a little over a year to lose it. I'm happy that I was able to lose the weight because I don't have anymore ankle problems. I can walk much better now.

It's very sad that we have to applaud and congratulate men for not being shallow.
Beth Ward shallow is a person leaving their spouse because they have gained 10 lbs or aged, or something outside their control. Leaving a spouse who is disregarding their own health and their spouses feelings and killing themselves with food isn't being shallow. Expecting anyone to find you physically attractive when you literally weigh as much as livestock and are only vaguely human shaped is shallow, expecting someone to love, respect and care for you when you don't love yourself, respect or care for yourself is shallow. I'm not saying that if you gain any weight at all your spouse has the right to leave you but if you put on 100 , or in her case 350lbs because you have a problem you won't face then it shouldn't be a surprise that issues start coming up.

I lost 180lbs, for 10yrs kept it off, had major back surgery ( ironically from a Gym injury) bed ridden for 8mo, put back 100lbs. Now loosing it again. Obesity doesn't just go away, it's like alcoholism I wish people would talk more about this. Just because you loose the weight doesn't mean that your still not battling a disease.

Yes i always tell people "Once you're a fat kid, you're always a fat kid." It's so easy to get back into those habits that seem "natural". Yet people are shook when you lose weight yet still go to the gym. It's not a one time fix all.

Very inspirational. I lost 115 lbs in 14 months. Went to Dr other Day gained 9lbs back within 6 mos. this story motivating to lost that 9lbs back plus 100 more! Good Luck to these people for their success story. I would like to know how long it took that beautiful lady to lose 350lbs!

Amazing! Ive lost 47lbs the past year by just changing my diet. Im not terribly overweight, starting off at 235 at my heaviest. But Im very happy to have been able to achieve this.

When she walked out the doorway I literally busted out crying. Soooo Happy and Proud of her for sticking through it. That takes a a lot of strength to keep going especially when and if the weight seems to be taking forever to fall off. So happy for her!
They have to have a lot of excess skin (you can see it in her calves). I wish they would have provided skin removal surgery or given us info to help crowd fund for them

it depends on the person and where it is i think.. but regardless if you have lots of weight to lose you will have loose skin... A friend of mine has been losing weight gradually quite slowly.. because otherwise it is overwhelming for her.. and she has lost like 150 lb over the past few years and she still has loose skin in particular areas.. I mean doing some lifting i read can help lessen the blow but it is inevitable.. a lot of people do not think about the aftermath and how expensive it might be in the end they just think about how fat people are..

crazy crys One thing that has always helped me is to look at a bunch of inspiration pictures online, like a favorite celebrity or fitness guru everyday before working out. The visual of what I could become always motivates me to work hard to get the body that I want🙂 Good luck girl! You've got this! You're beautiful inside and out!
crazy crys go vegan! I lost 40 pounds going vegan and you save animals and the earth while at it! It's a very healthy lifestyle!
Just exercise all the time. Instead of sitting on the couch watching tv, go walk back and forth or do jumping jacks or anything to get you moving while watching that show. I have an iPad so what I do is watch CZcams videos while walking around in my house. Believe me, you can and will lose weight if you just keep exercising.

My turning point has been my poor health.. I just feel toxic and sick.. I had a feeling if I don't turn my life around I will die by 35.. And so I began my healthy me journey.. I have existing health issues such as PCOS and Hashimoto's.. I know my weight is causing these conditions to worsen and therefore putting my health at risk.. I am now eating a paleo diet and being more active.. I have lost 15kg so far but I have 80kg to go..

Jala J We're very much alike.. I am the same as you.. I am 30 yrs old.. My whole 20's was spent being a yo yo dieter.. And I have months of strength and then months of weakness.. For me on this healthy journey I am going good.. I had to change my mindset from diet to a healthy journey.. When ever I "diet" I crash and burn and it's bad.. But changing it to being healthy, it's helped me.. But I hope you're proud of yourself for not giving up.. Slowly is good.. It is not easy.. It is hard work, more so mentally than physically... Every day is a new day to strive for our goals.. We have to be gentle with ourselves and keep a positive frame of mind..

this is inspiring to me. i’m overweight, not too overweight but i am, and me and my mom belong to a gym, but we haven’t been going. this makes me want to go back to the gym and lose some weight. i want to be happy with my weight again

I was at 230 lbs and I somehow (I knew I was, meaning I'm surprised that I was able to actually lose weight) got down to 130 lbs and I know how amazing it feels to lose even five pounds, this is crazy amazing!
I have lost over 20 pounds in the last 6 months about. I am proud with how much better im getting, i used to be 170 lb and now im just about 142. My overall goal is to get to 120 (where my doctor wants me at) and before it seemed almost impossible to do. Now i know that i can definitely do it

Thats inspiring. Not just the weight but when I see people that have real problems and they overcome them, it just makes me feel like we really can do anything that we want to if we just put some effort into it.

Congratulations! I lost 110 pounds in just under a year after going vegan, didn't even require much exercise and I ate a lot of junk not going to lie haha! I am so blessed to have been provided with the opportunity to change my life around at age 15 and not any later! Last year I was morbidly obese, this year I am the healthy weight!
