The problem is the Apple watch, if you put Apple watch on a normal coil or multiple coils the watch turn warm in 2 minutes to explode in 5. The multi coils are there for very long , the A watch always have a Seperate tho. My MK acces could do normal Qi for 1% then turns off. But the 1% makes it very hot
Not really, this is made by freecharge company ...so it's a collaborative type thing...and Tesla is a huge company..so it's just a common sense that they would have different teams for working on different projects.... But you don't have common sense...so
What surprises( disappoints) me the most is why don't these wireless chargers have a built in heatsink + fan to control the thermals since it is common knowledge that they heat up very quickly . So many Apple users defend low wattage charging speeds but ironically use wireless charger that heats the battery more than a decently fast wired charger
They need to do this for the Apple magic mouse. Instead of having the stupid design of charging from the bottom this is wireless charging and you have to use it on that mouse pad in order to charge it
Not only is it probably massively overpriced but I can't find it anywhere online I just love it when content creators review something and don't provide a link to where to buy the product
I've never seen any point to wireless charging pads when I've always been able to just plug my phone in and still use it instead of putting it down on a coaster or a bookshelf looking thing that has a cord attached to it
@@akashverma5460air power was also gonna work with Apple Watches which have a different smaller coil so this won’t be able to charge them so not really better
Apples version worked perfectly for phones. The issue was they also wanted to be able to charge Apple Watches - which is a completely different set of charging systems hence why they heated up
Tried wireless charging once. Did exactly what the phone and google said to do, nothing happened. Not gonna try it again. But i imagine elon would definitely make the best charger. If my usb port stops working again, i may consider it.
The build qualty is not determined by being out of metal or heavy. Build quality is in the precision of machining, how it is put together, electornic circuits tolerances etc. No one of that generation has even seen quality. Nor have the ability to actually tell if it is. It's heavy. It's metal. 😂
This is literally what AirPower tried to be
Not really because AirPowers goal was to also charge the Apple Watch, which is 1000x harder to do.

yeah, cool but not really considering airpower made your phones highly flammable
As an Apple fan we don’t talk about that
A fire hazard?
I find it funny that Apple tried this, and refuse to release it because they couldn't get the heating under control
Makes me wonder how this will perform
Because of Apple Watch this clearly does not charge Apple watch
Apple wanted it very thin
Apple didn’t want to charge 300 bucks for a charger
@@kyaki101 Yet they charge 700 dollars for the apple mac pro wheels.. so i don't think that was the reason, just apple being apple.
"Inside the box we have the platform itself" - PhoneBuff 2023 💀
can u explain this joke?😭
yeah and that alcantara's gonna heat up pretty quick and cook your phone!
Exactly
Wait, isn’t Alcantara a microfibre material?
It’s not real leather, it’s synthetic.
Tesla is not an idiot.. 😅
@@adayinthelife3478that's where you'd be wrong
Exactly, apple already tried this and then stopped selling the thing because of the heat problems
Ironic that Tesla spends more time and effort making good phone chargers, rather than their cars that have major quality control issues💀

Yes I have seen that video it's looks like a toaster for your phone

3y back Xiaomi made this kind of wireless charging pod and it also supported 50w lol😅
Those coils are gonna heat up so much because of eddie currents
300 dollar for a thing thats gonna set your house on Fire😂
True i am good with my 5w and 20w chargers
@@timdejong2222wired will always be better than wireless 😤
For $300 one can buy a set of MagSafe chargers and set them in different spots to charge their phone wherever they want
Imagine a content creator putting things down unaestheticly on his $10K desk set up 😂
Isn't Xiaomi already cracked this a year ago, just without the alcantara which is probably better for your phones😂

Wow so high-tech
They just put a bunch of coils 🤯
Charging is just luxury now
YOU CAN PUT YOUR PHONE, HOWEVER YOU WANT *ON THIS FLAT SHEET MEANT TO BE A CHARGER*
I love how the changer looks like a charging pad in TESLA cars
300 dollars to not be able to use your phone when charging
Me watching this video on a 200$ phone : Ah what a great product
that thing gonna short circuit at one point 💀
The thing is going to be hotter than the surface of the sun
So... Its just a bigger wireles charger...?
They need to do this for the Apple magic mouse. Instead of having the stupid design of charging from the bottom this is wireless charging and you have to use it on that mouse pad in order to charge it
i literally have this on my big mousepad
"Advanced" lol
Use 65w charger: *Umm... No*
Use wireless charger for 499$ and wait 2 days to get a full charge: *Shut up and take my money*
I mean wireless charger itself is around 30 watts wich iPhone supports
Iphone can only use 7.5w unless it's official magsafe supported
Im glad someone said this MagSafe is under the MFi program
Or get a power adapter that can charge your phone to its maximum allowed wattage.
Open it!!

First time I heard Tesla having good build quality
You lost me there:
Integrated USB-C Cable
Literally AirPower…
Now make it for cars
makingsure wasn't uploaded on 1st April
people be spending money on whatever💀
Tell people how much power this thing draws
Wish they made them care as strong and solid
This is like a gaming chair
Only it’s for phone instead
A small company did this before.. I forgot the name but it was like $200..
So they make this but don’t improve/update any of their products to be better?
Not only is it probably massively overpriced but I can't find it anywhere online I just love it when content creators review something and don't provide a link to where to buy the product
Not only does it set your phone on fire, but it sets your wallet on fire too!
$300 for a wireless charger is down horrendous
Pretty wild tech😂
This charger is worth more than my phone💀
It hardly charges my phone in my Tesla and I have to manouver my phone to get it charging
This is different than the one in the tesla
@@GamingTrivia1113 yeah….
300$ ?? I will buy 20 wireless charging stations 😂😂
Did I just hear “Tesla” and “Build Quality” in the same sentence?

My cords look more attractive already

If it doesn’t solve the heating issue it’s still not worth it 😩
integrated usb c is hilarious
Said solid metal shows hollowed out
Making buffoon of people , simple coils at that Price is insane
300$ 😍
This exists for years for android phones, maybe it was not working proper with iphones but it was soooo cheaper
reminds me of Apple’s AirPower
Yall know apple didnt sell this bc of heating issues.. and add the alcantara the tesla version has too it.
Airpower be like
He likes it sideways
Wireless 8t has no wires but you have to keep it on plate to charge it. Its so hard to plug the cable
At 300 dollars it better have good build quality: Iphone 15 pro max👀
Kind of like Apple AirPower
better n cheaper than air power for sure.

Man if they gave me 300$ I would transform into a wireless charger considering I’m 6’6 I guess I can charge a lot of phones . Cool charger tho
Apple once also made the same type of wireless charger but it failed due to overheating 🥵

Everytime I hear "It just works", It always reminds me of Todd Howard 😀
With all the new technology comes great inefficiency one coil is bad enough but lots of them just wasting so much power just sitting there
My phone doesn’t even have wireless charging hahaha.
I move around and use my phone while it charges so I could never have a platform charger
Wireless charger: continues to plug in wire
When apple collaborates with tesla :
Apple made this long ago but never released it as there were heating issues. Not sure how this pad got around that.
it probably doesnt support apple watches

Wireless charger with type c
build quality is at next level, same his price 😂
Apple had a similar idea before
Bro why do people always want photos to be wireless when wired is way better and cheaper
What is advanced about it ?
Will it work through a plastic billfold case?
now we need a bigger size
Apple is typing.......
Dont mix it up with premium i phone charger coz apple attemted to do tht and failed just call it phone charger
You can buy a phone with 300 dollers

Airpower where you at?!
What’s the use for wireless chargers?
That was Apple traying to do in. 2018 i think but it was only failed prototype that overheated

just a small fee of $299. LOL
The electric bill 💀 just for 15 watt charging wirelessly 🤭🤭🤭
Could you charge a 2nd pair of airpods with the other phones and the other airpods??
I hope Tesla goes into tech. I want to buy a Tesla phone & computer.
They did what apple never could
Wire still superior because then you can actually hold your phone and use it
