I am in LIC and I have seen some LIC AAOs have chosen RBI and some have not.. I think I can give you the answer from my perspective.
After getting selected as aao I didn't even go for RBI because 1. You have to serve atleast 15 to 20 years in Mumbai that means you have get out at around 7 to 7 :30 am and will reach home by 9 to 10 pm , given that u are getting out of office at 6 to 7. In the month of March God knows what happens
2. In lic after 4 yrs u Will certainly get a posting nearby your home
3. The job pressure much less compared to RBI
But having Said that
RBI salary including allowances is way higher than lic even though the basic salary is same
@@niloymajumder4469 I choose RBI cuz i like work in tier 1 cities , not bother if i am away from my home town. I don't think in RBI there is a much work load, may be a little if i got posted in Mumbai. I think RBI provide a cool blend of public and private culture. Lic aao ko har 3yr m transfer hota hai. Yadi 2-3 saal m hometown posting mil bhi Jae to Kitna din hometown m rahne ko milega ye nishchit nhi hai.

In Sbi po u will hv to sell SBI insurance schemes, u will be given impossible targets to sell them like a salesman + public dealings+ postings can be anywhere in india( even in places u hv never even heard of), GIC is better, no public dealings+ office in mumbai.
Just wait for 8th pay commission , which will come surely ... Pay level 7 ( currently 44900) will rise to min to min 90k .that is the least estimate

Pay commission need to revise his pay scale its dated now from 2006
If it comes to 90k (for existing basic 44900)then its too low.Bank and lic gets revision in every 5 years and in last two revision Banking &LIC got handsome hike.On the other hand Central government and Centra psu pay scales are revised after 10 years so if it's comes to 90k for existing basic 44900 it is quite less.
