1st time: its...ok
2nd time: its pretty good
3rd time: "i know that these failures!"
Strange: Dormammu, i've come to bargain.
Dormammu: You've come to die. and Just when you think there's nowhere left to sink, you'll find that these failures will not end. and hope of success is just in your head. >:-(
Man I really wish they made another album that sounds like this. Easily my favorite album of theirs
@@g.a.d.7775 they did in 2020 but it was a lot heavier. I really enjoyed their softer stuff like this album
Usually I'm not a fan of style changes, luckily Chris has the pipes for it
Hi there. Nice to meet you. My name is BYE. I have a band called EVVI. The genre is mixed between metalcore and emotional. We have released Music Video on CZcams. Would you mind to check it ? And give me a thought about it on coment section below the video ?
Here's the link
czcams.com/video/TU2V9D5kyLs/video.html
THANK YOU :)
I really missed Chris singing these kinds of melodies like back in the Emarosa/Agraceful days. It's different but still as good. I like the angry Chris but sometimes is nice to see his soft side again.
Keith Nórthlañe hey you have a cool band in your name too haha, like the comment above yours.
I noticed that more and more metalcore bands are including more and more nu-metal riffs and chords. Nu-metal is making its way back into the field. I am happy.
Such an underrated band, they make such good music, these guys deserve to be huge!
Absolute banger. Chris's vocal fries are just beautiful 😍
I love this song and the entire album. Got me through some very hard times.
Every single one of their albums just happened to drop at bad times in my life, so they’ve gotten me through shit on multiple occasions
How does this song not have 200 million views. It’s too damn good. I’ve heard it hundreds of times, along with the entire dark divine album
so much new life was breathed into this band. i fucking love it. especially when they’ve been my favorite band for the past six years. this is exactly the kind of natural maturation they needed.
Thank you for saying that. I can understand why the fans that have been around for longer might not like the change, but instead of making a big deal about it (stating your opinion isn't making a big deal, but some people in this comment section have made a big deal about it and other have made it a big deal when the person was simply just stating their opinion) I think that they should be supportive of their favorite band evolving even if they do't necessarily like the new change. I think that because the people themselves evolve and asking them to not do so including with their music is unhealthy and unfair. For bands like this, they're telling people about their lives and that deserves some mad respect no matter what because that's not an easy thing to do.
RossLynn Irwin what it really comes down to is that these guys just have the passion for what they do and they know how to turn that passion into damn good music. whether it’s heavy or not.
chris roetter has some fucking pipes man. one of my fave vocalists for sure
Isn't he the shit? He's got the awesome cleans with cool harmonies, and at the same time, the psychotic screams. No one else like old mate. :D
^Sadly, that's actually very true....I saw them live recently...I love them, but they suck live in general. Wont do it again.
i beg to differ from people’s opinions on their live show. saw them live myself. they killed it. even met chris after and he’s the coolest guy i’ve met at a show. if you go to see a band live, they’ll suck sometimes. i happened to catch them at their best
This song is easily the best thing they've done. There's so much passion behind everything. More like this please.
Woke up and randomly had this song stuck in my head.
This is the Hands Like Houses album we deserve.
This is honestly one of the coolest music videos I've ever seen. The music, the imagery, it's all perfect.
I dig the Like Moths To Flames vibes! This is exactly what I expect from a talented group! These guys have came a long way and continue to make hits!
have to give credit to these guys, probably their best album yet... I can't believe five years has passed from it release
I dig the Hands Like Houses vibes
These guys were doing hands like houses before hands like houses were even around
paddy really? No offense because I've never heard of this band and hands like houses sounds is my jam. Might as well check this guys, any recommendations?
I like how this song shows deep sincerity from start to finish. I can feel it
I appreciate the change into something softer and melodic, I've always loved Chris's clean pipes 😍 I'm most glad that they're still making music! 👌
I haven't seen this many cleans from Chris in LMTF since "In Dreams" off their Eye For an Eye album. His cleans are so good, and the lyrics never disappoint.
omfg this makes me cry. i love this.
FINALLY a song from these guys that I actually love! Looking forward to hearing more!
This song is so damn good... I can not get enough of hearing it... upgraded it to the first song my ears need to hear when I wake up and the last song when I sleep...
This is such a good song. Its nice to see a softer side of the band. Plus its catchy. It shows that Chris is still great at writing melodies. And in my opinion everyone that's saying it could be better doesn't truly comprehend that's its a lot harder to write and structure a good melody with singing the patterns for screaming, and all the stuff about the band could have out more leads and solos and extra. No matter how good the musicians are if you put to much in one song it takes away from the other parts of the song. You don't need to shred or be super technical on every part of every song to make good music. I honestly hope they continue with experiment with different sounds then they've done in the past.
looks like the same desert as chelsea grin's video clip Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Good song by the way
One of my favorite bands. There prior stuff is AMAZNING. New stuff has toned down a bit, but still really good. They are an extremely talented band
Yeah bloody oath, these legends are sounding good - Looking forward to this album!
Good god, yes 🙌🏻
Their recording has improved SO MUCH. This album is going to be one for the books for sure.
This band is sick no matter what , people don’t get that some bands get tired of heavy depressing music and wanna make feel good songs and I support every band that does that.
Incredible 😍😍😍
I love this new Agraceful song
Chris Roetter is a legend of the scene, been around for ages. I remember first hearing him in Emarosa's 2007 EP, then Agraceful, then now LMTF. Massive respect goes to him (and all the other band member hes been in bands with)
I’ve been an LMTF fan since When We Don’t Exist. I am in love with this song and can’t wait for the album. i love the direction they are going. Screw the haters and sing your heart out Chris !
His voice like bert mccraken nice!!
Positive lyrics from LMTF?! I thought I'd never see the day
Rui Martins I still think they're negative lyrics. "Failures will not not end. Never seen the bright side anywhere. Just when I think there's nowhere left to sink. I find that these failures are in my head."
"I find that these failures are in my head" How can this be negative? It's about finding your flaws and fixing them. Realizing that all those failures and negativity was all a product of your head and taking a step forward!
Rui Martins because it ties into the line before saying that he thinks he can't sink lower but the failures are now in his head and affect everything.
Love this band through every last aspect of their transformation over the years. You have anything negative to say and I promise it means you know, NOTHING
Such an underrated singer...I loved this dude in Agraceful...had such amazing cleans in the "Great I Am"..still blast that tune all the time ...keep rocking out Chris ill keep listening
Man when he sings it's getting harder to see at 1:18 he is brushing up on some Johnnie Craig vibes. That whole part gives me the chills.
The raspyness is on point.
I feel like the producer might have aimed them in the too close to touch direction.
Solid tune
In a way this may be lmtf heaviest song yet, if ya know what I mean.
Of course there's no screaming, but man It's just very powerful and that nice full hook is killer
Petroglyphs how can you compare this man to JCraig. Dudes got a great voice but not even close.
2022 and this song still hits hard!
I've been listening to them for years now and
*I CAN'T WAIT TO BUY THIS ALBUM*
Fell out of the loop after You Won't be Missed. Glad these guys are still making crazy good music.
Can we just establish that all the people who are saying they got generic are in my opinion, not correct. Generic metal would be more like GNF where its nothing but the first three frets palm muted. This song is filled with creative riffs and chord progressions. There is a lot of layers in the mix which creates a captivating chorus. If anything those commenting generic are looking for the term selling out. However in the music business selling out is just becoming famous. Lyrically it is a more mature song compared to their previous stuff and compared to other bands who are stuck singing about their teenage heartbreaks this band is excelling lyrically. I know that everyone has different tastes in music but personally looking at it from a musicians point of view this is not that "Generic." It may be simple but not generic.
WHAT MAKES YOU BETTER THAN MEEE?!
IF YOU STILL END UP ALL BY YOURSEEELLLFFF...(Tristan mate, you missed some parts...)
This is an amazing song. top 5 all time songs, easy. i will listen too this forever.
I just listened to the chorus and i automatically fall in love with this
Niiiiiice Job Guys!
Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
I just want to feel
Seems like I'm holding on
Never know whats real
Until it's all gone
[Pre-Chorus]
Does it hurt to know
I can't get out
Well I'm cursed in souls
All around
[Chorus]
I know that these failures will not end
Never seen the bright side anywhere
Just when I think there's nowhere left to sink
I find that these failures are in my head
In my head
[Verse 2]
It's getting harder to see
The forest from the trees
And what I can't avoid
Keeps coming back to me
Complacent while I kill these empty thoughts
Stuck in a place that I swear I forgot
[Pre-Chorus]
Does it hurt to know
I can't get out
Well I'm cursed in souls
All around
[Chorus]
I know these failures will not end
Never seen the bright side anywhere
Just when I think there's nowhere left to sink
I find that these failures are in my head
In my head
[Bridge]
Write me off is all that I know
Waisting words when I should just let go
[Chorus 2]
Failures will not end
Failures will not end
I know these failures will not end
Never seen the bright side anywhere
Just when I think there's nowhere left to sink
I find that these failures are in my head
I know these failures will not end
Never seen the bright side anywhere
Just when I think there's nowhere left to sink
I find that these failures are in my head
The boys are back fuck yes
Started listening to this band 2 days ago after I stopped years before and when gnf came out and the album dark divine just blew me away. And I dig the acoustic this year from them as well.
So good, so beautiful. Love the way it sounds and the aesthetic.
HOLY FUCK!!! THIS IS GOLDEN! STOKED FOR THE ALBUM BOIIIIISSSS!
Aye throwback to Emarosa days. The 1st Emarosa cd he sung on.
Corey Synyster more like screamed bro. He did do their first EP but it 90% screaming.
Alex Kopp seriously, I’ve seen so many of these comments and I’m so confused every time because he was only ever on that EP and he screamed for pretty much all of it, and I think people think it’s him on the first album as well. I don’t get it.
Blake Killed The Prom Queen hmm, two very different types of vocalists, and neither have done an album or ep Together
Honestly one of the only bands that has never let me down I love this song and band!
Amazing song. Keep it up boys. The lyrics from Agraceful til now tell an amazing story. One I and many others relate too. I'm looking forward to the next chapter Like Moths to Flames. Rock on.
This band is very good, excellent., That sound fuck .. And Chris is a poet .... great band one of my favorite .., one of the best bands. Did the bass player come back ??
Finally they brought out something different. Many bands get stucked and need change. Good song, keep it up guys.
I just keep coming back to this. Something about this song makes it so timeless.
2024 STILL HERE
the first song from the brand new album, honestly, i've been awaiting this band to release the new album, i'm so glad once i see the new song, this MV is beautiful and meaningful, whether or not they are popular, i will always stick with Like Moths To Flames, this is my favorite band, i have the strong feeling about something through their songs, it's so wonderful, i just simply love the band.
I have stood by this band ever since the first album they dropped, and they have NEVER failed to inspire and amaze me. This is different. This Is a new direction. But, I hope they don't go soft like all these other bands have.
2024, still here
I love this song sooo much 1st time hearing this band. Love this style of music so much 😍
this is another one of those few songs (like Parkway- anasassis, oceans ate Alaska- hansha) that will always put me in good mood. and has helped get through some dark ugly times. love ya work keep the hits coming
I thought this song came out last year... time flies... already 2020...
2021 and still phenomenal. Kick ass beat and lyrics. Love these guys so much
Finally a change!! 100% respect!! it doesn't hit my feels but I really dig something absolutely different!
Jesus loves you all so much just wanted you to know that. ❤
Am I the only one who wants them to stick to this style? This song is beautiful. Probably their best.
James Smith I love this style too. But unfortunately his voice isn't built to sing shit like this live.
Nothing wrong with rock style songs from heavy bands. Broaden those horizons and make them dollas!
EXCELLENT TRACK!
For those saying this isn't as heavy as their old.. It's not, but it goes in on a lot of songs still. Love this album to death. Love the change.
showed my dog this song....
no he takes me for walks
The used?
It's been a while, God this band has matured. Loving this.
Can't get enough I would be way to okay if the whole album was like this
well, at least no teehees despise style change. good song though I love lmtf
This song is decent, but LMTF can NOT turn into a rock band. Their heavy sound is a fucking hallmark in the metal world.
then they should leave rise as fast as they can cause rise turns all their bands into rock bands
They stated that this was would still be a heavy album, but they didn't want to "scream at their fans the whole time" pretty sute thats how he phrased it lol
They won't turn into a rock band. They're just maturing as a band and releasing more than just 1 sounding type of song. There is still gonna be slamz on this new album, it's just going to have some clean bangers as well.
People seriously need to stop bitching
Chris wanted to do something soft instead of having every one of his songs just screaming the entire time
He just wanted a difference for a song
Doesn't mean he's changing the entire band.
Was not expecting this turn in sound but I'm digging it.
Beautiful song this and the acoustic version too
I love this song but I see a lot of people saying the lyrics are more positive. personally I don't think so but I can see why people say that. I hope they don't go positive because I really like lmtf for the gritty, pessimistic, and fuck everyone including myself kind of lyric style. that shit is so real.
Connor Quinn I think it’s because the song sounds a bit more upbeat compared to old LMTF so people just assume that it’s more positive for some reason lmao
What's wrong with a little positivity? The world could use a lot more of it
Havoc Faction there's nothing wrong with it I didn't say that. what I said was i like the lyrics style that they have which has negative overtone.
The lyrics sound anything but positive. I mean he's talking about constantly being a failure and sinking into depression
This sounds pretty real and relates to me, and that mentality is actually pretty standard, gets old hearing about it.
Someone isn’t pissed off anymore
Awesome! Definitely would love to see these guys live too!
LOVE this so much. Grown up listing to these guys
Whats the point of having amps out in the middle of nowhere if you're not gonna plug your guitar in to it...
EDIT: SARCASM ladies and djentlemen, look it up.
Dylan Barnes obviously their instruments aren’t going to be plugged in, it’s a music video not a live performance. Also, advertisement for Orange Amps
Jack Rainbolt the ironic comment went right over your head, obviously.
If only they can sing like this live :[
I concur. I've watched several of there live shows on youtube and from what i've seen, the band could use some improvements in their overall performance.
love the colors in this clip.... very pleasant to the eyes
Emarosa, Agraceful, When We Don't Exist, and now this. I fell off with the more recent stuff, but this is great. Solid job guys.
I get a heartist vibe from this. Love it
IT LOOKS LIKE A MAD MAX THEME!! I LOVE!!
If ya wander the desert long enough you'll find a metal band 💓
Or the forest lol
Exactly
