Indeed. Having done some research into various problems of Zimbabwe in the past myself, I have to admit that I am truely impressed. Zimbabwe deserves its 5 minutes of steady growth and maybe even increase in its position on a gloabl market or at least on a regional, internal African market. As European, I want increase in quality of life for all regions of the world. I am aware of importance of such good news for entire Africa but also for India and other regions of the world since current situation between Russia and Ukraine has resulted in huge hunger issue on a global scale and this is why all regions of the world shall not stop insisting on both sides of this conflict to come to a diplomatic and stable resolution as fast as possible and in the meantime all regions of the world have to try hard as Zimbabwe to increase their local farming crops, if only possible and to try to establish new networks in food production and distribution, as far as possible.

As for India even though they export $40 billion of food annually ad are one of the largest producers of cereals, cotton, tea and fruits and vegetables, I do agree with you that India needs to modernize its farming practices. We need more technology, automation and farm mechanization in our farms to increase the yield.

For a few years, I worked as an engineer on a U.S. flagged ship carrying food aid to countries mostly in Africa, but I came to realize that the money would have been spent building up local agriculture instead. Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, but if you give him the fishing gear...... It is great to see African agriculture developing to the point that Africans can feed themselves and build a surplus to tide them over through drought conditions. Food security is the first step up the economic ladder toward a more prosperous future.

Honest to God!! It's really a such great joy to hear some good news from Zimbabwe after almost 40 years of Mogabi's regime. I have no doubt if Mogabi was still around, we would NOT even dream to hear or watch this great news. Good riddance, Mogabi!! Zimbabwe is a much better place without him. Keep up the great work and we wish you all the best!! Cheers,

Rubbish its because of Mugabi programmes of education and self-reliance that Zimbabwe is now self-sufficient in food production and now they are developing a local oil industry.
