This was so much fun to create, but wow it took forever.
Some cool details:
In the first shot, the ship is going from right to left, which is the opposite of (English) reading direction, meaning they are going "back." But Odysseus is getting complacent and tired, and he's not looking forward, but rather spacing out to the side of the ship. Because he lost sight of his duty, he ultimately fails and his crewmates open the bag.
Also, in his imagination, Penelope is still young, and her and Telemachus have a different colored "white" cloth than Odysseus', who is in a more pink-looking environment to represent the potential hope of a new beginning, but also all the blood he has spilled.

Odysseus' outfit is so simple, but so good! I don't know why, but that sticks out to me. i really like it for some reason.

@@Erlance I like that and can definitely see it. The choice to go with white and for the cloth to resemble a cape does well to convey that message.

Awhh thank you❤️❤️ I would probably suck with watercolors though!
@@Erlance they’re actually pretty easy once you get the hang of them! You mostly just work lightest to darkest and just let the paints do their thing. (Watercolor brushes, where you put the water inside them also help a ton too. They’re super fun for expressive painting)
But I could NEVER have as much talent as you in digital coloring, oh gosh it’s so pretty 😩
