For me the oldest version's last shark was great white shark so nostalgic unlike the new one too many sharks and so powerful sharks I just want normal sharks
I honestly feel like this is where the game peaked. The amount of sharks felt good, by the time you have Big Daddy you can basically eat everything, but having those extra sharks after were nice. The UI looked good too, it fit in with the rest of the game. Though, it could be because after Alan released was when I stopped playing the game as a kid
Older looked better and had so many great little touches like the Museum and the Relics. I honestly think it went downhill after Mr. Snappy because after him they just kept adding new sharks with very few changes in map or new enemies. Alan and Moby especially were huge missed opportunities. Alan should have been an alien world exclusive shark and Moby should have received his own map in the 18th century whaling era. New version's sharks are smaller, UI looks lame, boost bars are smaller, and multipliers are all the same after Moby Dick. The new designs are really cool but they all feel like they should be lab sharks. I will say that it's great how liberal they are with the gems nowadays.

People say the old version looks better, I don't think the old one looks better but the old version will Have a special place in my heart because I grew up with it and It's pure nostalgia
Modern hungry shark is too OP like supernatural sharks and if you get a high highscore you certainly will die fast because of the most OP sharks in the game
I miss this so much. I loved the concept of the next shark being hidden in stone until you find it. Back when gold rushes actually felt rewarding and you had to find shells to unlock your missions. the UI was great too
that's really nostalgic, I remember I used to play the game when I was still in primary school/early middle school, it's so ridiculously different now it's hard to believe that's the same game
They should have kept the style where sharks past Great White were hidden by either an ancient stone or a fragment of them to keep them mysterious and each would get just more and more marvelous you reach the owner of the food chain
I still remember when the Megalodon and Big Daddy having a showdown during Xmas is the best thing I've ever experience, and they used to grow big ( sadly they renove the growing size mechanic)

I hate how they keep adding useless overpowered "sharks" who aren't even sharks. Like, what is the point of Mr. Snappy and Alan. All they do is eat the enemy version of themselves. They're literally useless. Aswell as the other "sharks" that were added for nothing
