    Train Enthusiast’s Video Diary 2019-10-27 Part 1 of 4
On Sunday 27th of October 2019, we joined fellow train enthusiasts and chased SteamRanger’s ‘Southern Encounter’ train from Mount Barker, South Australia, to Victor Harbor, South Australia, and return.
On this occasion, Steam Ranger’s ‘Southern Encounter’ was hauled by Rx 207 Steam Locomotive ‘Dean Harvey’ and 621 Steam Locomotive ‘Duke of Edinburgh’.
The chase included a brief sighting of Steam Ranger’s ‘Cockle Train’ which was hauled with the two above locomotives running back-to-back on the recurring route between Victor Harbor and Goolwa.
The day’s video snippets have been split in to a four part video collection: Part 1 - Mount Barker to Victor Harbor; Part 2 - Shunting and Turntable activity at Victor Harbor; Part 3 - two snippets of the ‘Cockle Train’ near Chiton Rocks and at Port Elliott Railway Station; and Part 4 - ‘Southern Encounter’s’ journey from Victor Harbor back to Mount Barker.
