The guy on the bottom has weird logic. lol He says if something is a lie then it makes the song automatically not good. When AK, who is Draks biggest fanboy and made his page/streams a place to push dishonest narratives for Drake and defend him, admitted Drake made up the Dave Free stuff, didn't feed fake info to Kendrick, didn't feed Kendrick the fake daughter info and just made up him beating his girl. The rest of the songs from Drake is dissing other people. So does that mean all of his songs are not good by default as well? You are so hyperfocused on this one verse, and brother you have to pick a different angle, because this logic doesn't hold if you equally apply those same standards to Drake.
Plus, idc who you are, NO grown ass man nearing 40 should have an impressionable 14 year olds number. Not only as a regular adult, but also as someone who these girls are fans of or look up to. Befriending them into a private relationships and texting privately. Taking them to dinners and events without parental supervision. Only to smash a lot of them the moment they turn 18. To defend actual grooming behavior is wild to me. And those are only the stories that we are aware of. Be more angry over that than Kendrick possibly making up or being wrong about a missing Drake daughter. lol If you would be fine with a grown adult texting your young impressionable teenage daughter then please never have kids. lol That video of him kissing and rubbing on a girl on stage after she clearly says she is 17, and he is fully aware how wrong it is by saying "I can't go to jail yet", only to proceed to touch on her and kiss her is just gross, and shows a clear pattern of disregarding age, legal/moral boundaries, while also knowing its wrong. We have to stop normalizing or ignoring this creepy behavior and having these open secrets.
And to be real, we don't know if Kendrick is lying. We only got 5 out of the possible 10 Kendrick diss tracks. He was weaving a whole narrative and since Drake ran out of gas and everyone agreed The Heart Pt 6 is terrible, we didn't hear how it would have played out. But we do know for a fact Drake was lying.
And Meet The Grahams is better based off what it did for the battle. Strategy wise and narrative wise. That is what makes it better. Drakes "red button" was Family Matters and within an hour Kendrick completely neutralized it. Took all of Drakes steam, and made him desperately release The Heart Pt 6, where a massive majority of people deemed him the loser after that. If you are basing songs in this battle off of which you can shake ya ass to the best then sure, Family Matters clears Meet The Grahams, but that's that's not the requirements in a battle. lol
The strategy of baiting him to drop Meet The Grahams only hours before he does, which was Drakes red button, only to smother any energy it had with MTG, then only to drop "Not Like Us" the next day was insanely strategic, and its not coincidence that Kendric is heavily considered the winner. He perfectly predicted from Euphoria how this whole thing was going to play out, perfectly. Warned him the whole time. Only to perfectly neutralize his nuke and drop a club hit the next day was perfect strategy. It put Drake on defense the whole time, made all of his songs way less impactful and just outplayed Drake.
Is the daughter fake? I have no idea. Is it plausible that he has one? Absolutely. There is a history of Drake that makes it plausible. The underage accusations were plausible because people have been talking about that for years at this point. Kendrick dissected Aubrey, and clearly did have a legit mole because he for sure had Family Matters well before it released, and I think he had it before he even released Euphoria. The whole battle was Kendrick making Aubrey take off his Drake mask, and it was successful. All Drake did was use a social media like to start a rumor about Dave Free, and called him a woman beater though there is NO evidence of it outside of an old ass video with a girl claiming it. Yet there was no other witnesses, no police reports and the girl never came out. So when do lies matter to you, and when are they okay? His whole Heart Pt 6 were narratives he was getting off of Reddit and social media.
You can be a Drake fan still. But lets not act like he didn't get embarrassed and bodied every step of this battle. To see how cocky he was at the start, calling KDot scared, baiting him to drop a response, playing his cringe high school internet games, and having people like Akademiks, Mal, etc fight his battles for him and push dishonest narratives, only to see him get demolished by Kendrick so bad makes this loss even worse. He was that cocky kid at school who always punked out the other kids, and finally someone decided to punched him in the mouth and he didn't know what to do. lol
