Free Wood for Turning Projects

Cutting up a tree that had been blown over in a storm onto the electrical wires. This is a green ash tree and will be good for turning projects or making handles. Free wood is where you find it but never cut a tree that is leaning on electrical wires. Wait for the crew that is sent by the light company to remove it from the wires first.

Nice job. I would get your self a Froe, it will make your processing easier. You should also seal the ends of the wood... just my 2 cents worth. I enjoyed your video. thank you.

Ash is a good wood for green woodworking, they use it a lot in England.

How lucky to you have to be to get free Ash wood, I bet that area is just full of healthy forest, is there game and can you hunt in that area?
