Had a very good night playing COTW with a few friends. I’ve never killed a diamond in my 2 years of playing and tonight I got 2 diamond turkeys on silver ridge peaks and saw my first dilute turkey which I took my shot at it. Thanks for the great videos. Keep it up!

Keep it up and don't let the negativity sway you. This is SOOOO much more valuable than watching people hunt from ATV's or blast 15 buffalo with a hand gun at 5 yds

Thanks for the tips DD! I blew a lvl 9 Large horn Cape Buffalo a week ago. Shot it from 300 yards out, tracked it for like 2 real time hours, went around the map at 25-50% blood. Never dropped past that. Lost it. Sad.

I had the same thing happen to me with a red deer. Went back to where I first saw him next time played and ended up baggin him
DD basically revived my love for this game. I try to only hunt with the bow and have been very successful so far with your tips and tricks, i have gotten two diamond cape buffalo and also a diamond wildebeest recently and basically have to play to unwind at the end of everyday. Thanks for all your hard work man . Love watching ya.

This morning I was in Medved-Tiaga I found a massive 4-Easy Reindeer with a small 5-Medium I can't find him but I have his need zone and I'm going to go back later and hunt him and try to use the 6.5

Just watched this video and I have gotten 3 diamonds from before. I got a diamond mouflon just from hunting one spot over and over and got him to spawn. Another was a blacktail buck.
This guy gets 2 mythicals on the first pond and while my luck is getting one Gold in 1 month playtime
DD33! I was being killed by a diamond Grey wolf in the game last night. When i shot moose, a group of grey wolf picked on me.haha. But I still killed them a lot.
I completely messed up a shot at a level 5 elk this past Saturday, i just randomly fast traveled to a tent on a lake, scoped out the edge of the lake and there it was, no idea how i messed it up it seemed like a solid double lung hit, only thing i can think of it could have been behind a little hill covering it half way and never came close to shooting it

Good thing is that the elk were messed up before so it probably would’ve been a Gold anyways. 🍀
at that lake there is a drink zone where you first spotted it, theres a zone in the bushes far left corner, and if you walk around the right in that first corner as well. you will find more diamonds if you memorize every need zone

There's also a mod available on Nexus Mods that can increase your render distance to 700m+, of course only on PC, but it's helpful for finding animals without having to go as far!

also when you server hop look for maps that have very little need zones. that means it hasnt been hunted much at all and has higher chances

Great video... I am still on the hunt for diamonds. Water buffalo are still trolling me.. 9 mythical as a Gold...I was a bit upset about that.... also note to myself. When you find a diamond red deer use the 30.06 and not the .223 as it really spoils your day! 😢🤬😢

Played the game for over a year and still have no Diamond ive only ever spotted 2 that i know were diamonds , any certain type of species that seem easier than the rest ? Would appreciate some help
I’ve been playing for nearly two months. I have four diamonds. Prior to the quarantine, I only played two to three hours a week. During quarantine, my game time went up, quite a bit. What helped me is understanding max weight tracks, spending money on tents and placing them around hot spots. I am a very judicial hunter on this game and have been hunting IRL for years. I’m still stunned at the lack of diamonds I have but love the challenge. You’ll get one, bud. Hang in there. Also, Red Deer probably your best shot.

I spotted a level 9 legendary lion and tracked him for miles then I lost him and it frustrated me so much. Any tips on how I can find him again or is he gone for good.
I personally would go to any of the nearby needs zones that it might use and see. Just take your time and you will hopefully find it.

I’m on a grind for a diamond cape but they keep on spooking by a lion but I can’t ever find the lions how do I avoid the lions but still find a bunch of Cape buffalo . Love the content keep it up ;)
There are two very good Cape buffalo drinking zones to the north of the map where lions never go.
And in the delta killed 5 there
Vuronga has been my best map for grinding money and XP. I guess the Gemsbock are broken and over populated because I find herds of 20+ all over the place. I just shoot and kill as many as I can. Lol

Hey I recently got got enough money for the 338 I can’t decide wether to get the 7mm or the 300 canning next what do you think or if you have any other suggestions
I'd get the 7mm, then hunt red deer and pumas on parque, each give 1.2k to 1.5k then get the 300, however if you have the 30-06 or m1 then get the 300
I'd skip the 338 and start with the 7mm and later get 300.
Also I forgot to add that if you have parque fernando dlc you can do carolina's target missions and get .338 for free.

Then right after that I switched to Africa and I got a big horn diamond Cape buffalo brown

Did they fix the polymer glitch.. I am still having iss ues with the 300.. been using soft points too.. I think the capes are glitched.. have to use 470.. case in point. Just shot a legendary cape buff.. 164 yrds. Perfect shot.. ran off 75 percent. I know how to shoot I have killed 148 diamonds since Oct 2nd. 2019.. the 470. Is winner.. the 300 suxs

Quick kill does not matter you just need to hit a vital organ with the proper ammo for that animal

Hey DD, correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that they had to be in the diamond weight category to respawn as a diamond? I've been playing COTW since consecutive harvests were a thing but I've never fully understood how respawning works.
I believe it’s a combination of weight bracket and trophy rating. 👌🏻

So I'm curious about the tracks that pop up in game on every map with a green emblem of a track. I tracked one of them once for a long time and then I jumped a massive moose really really wide biggest I've seen. Any info on them would be nice. I also tracked a mule deer dilute after a long hike I jumped him twice but got him the 3rd time so my question is is that a way to find the real trophies? I haven't seen anyone cover this yet
