I've been using 4DDIG File Repair Version 3 to colourise old B&W video footage and it's been excellent. Adding colour to a 25 min video would take several hours using all the basic settings. Version 4 came out recently, and while I like the new interface I NOW FIND THE PROGRAM TO BE PAINFULLY SLOW. I tested Version 4 using a file that I'd already converted to colour. The original conversion took around 7 hours. V4 took 12hrs withe the same basic settings. When I used the"Quality" setting it took just on 40hrs! I really like this software but something seems really amiss with Version 4. and I can't go back to V3. Has anyone else experienced this? I contacted support but got a "non-answer" back, it really wasn't helpful.
