I think the crazy part about this, going off what I mentioned in my other comment- like, at a larger scale, for similar detail in paint, tailoring, and articulation, the officially licensed products easily cost triple the amount for this figure alone. I think that's where the third-party companies are now finding their niche, and it's paying off! There's no way I'm about to drop $439 CAD for a 1/6 Loen, when a third-party company can almost match that quality and detail in a smaller figure for a fraction of the price. Capcom just seems so apprehensive about licensing for their RE franchise, that the only products you can buy are absurdly overpriced, pretty much becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Now we're seeing third-party companies matching engineering, paint, and sculpt quality, like that Martialist Forever Son Goku figure that just released. If you have the new Gohan, you can just pop his head on that Goku body and suddenly, you have a 3.0 Buu Saga Ultimate Gohan, when the official S.H.Figuarts version is nearly a decade old at this point. What a time to be a collector! Okay, gonna finish this video now.
Yeah, that’s an expensive Leon! Haha. Hardest thing for these smaller companies is probably awareness. Not everyone will buy stuff like this without knowing the brand or the website and that’s IF they know it exists.

At $90 it is too expensive for sure. But Resident Evil figures are so scarse that I doubt anything better will come out. I said F it and preordered it.

I've watched both videos on the review and I think I need your opinion, I make stopmotions and I love resident evil and Leon Kennedy but I heard that the ankles get loose so do you think that would affect the let's say stopmotion-ibility to it?
He isn't the easiest to stand without support. If you are gonna do stop motion you would need to be careful of this and maybe mask out a stand in post

Honestly the legs and especially the ankles keep me from truly liking this figure. It can sometimes be harder to tell from pictures alone, but this figure has some really skinny legs when you compare them to the rest of his body besides the head. The ankles do not give much range at all and look pretty ugly imo.
