YIHUA 937D Digital Display Soldering Iron Unboxing and Initial Test from Banggood

This Yihua soldering iron's primary selling points are the digital display and low price. It works fine on 110v input. The digital display is on when the soldering iron is on. When the temperature is changed, the number changes and then after a brief moment it goes back to displaying the current temperature. I have used my previous Yihua soldering iron for over 4 years. It didn't have the digital display on the front so it would get left on sometimes for longer than it should. These Yihua soldering irons are priced comparatively low and have great performance. These are great soldering irons for beginners as well as more advanced peopple those who want more fine-tuned temperature control.

using the analog version of this for ages... still going strong. but when i had to buy an iron today i would go for an iron that uses t12 hakko tips. integrated heating element in the tip is just superior and there are good stations with oled display for about 50€ bucks on banggood or aliexpress.

425 degrees is the best setting for rosin core solder. Learned that from other you tubers who r in the hobby.

Any validity this video would have had, was lost when you called the LED screen an LCD screen, then you called BRASS copper, then once again you called the LED screen an LCD screen. I stopped the video at that point because you OBVIOUSLY don't have any idea what you are talking about! Also, the temperature is in Celsius, so it showing 251 would be around 483 F. Also, you don't measure temperature with a THERMOSTAT, you measure it with a THERMOMETER! Learn the PROPER names for things BEFORE you make a video!!
