Hes at west virginia side of new cumberland locks and dam. Dangerous place. The guard cables are there to catch uou if you fall. Great fishing othet wise.
Is that the new Cumberland dam? Never been. Heard it’s great walleye fishing. Pike island is a frequent stomping ground for me though.
Wow, man! Let's go!!! lol Fishing around the dams up that way, we always lose a ton of hooks... I used to fish down in the Hannibal Dam area but haven't been fishing there for years... Man, you had a great day... Those were some awesome fish..

What Dan is this? I live on the Kentucky side and fish between meldahl dam and markland. We typically see sauger in the cold months at the dam but I’m looking to find out how to catch sauger and walleye in the pools in between rather than having to fight with fishing the dam. Nice fish sir!
Last night we caught a 25lb blue cat, a 25in striper and a few nice channels. Fishing with cut shad on the bottom. We’ve caught sauger that way as well

I live nearby and fish the tributaries when the river floods and the dam is wide open. . The walleye move up into the shallows and you can catch hogs in 2ft of water.

Hey Billy,,, you still around? I see you moved to MOON Pa? Is that low head dam still on the O River, between Quippa & Monaca? Somewhere around here are some awesome eye catching videos that were made, a long time ago. Non-stop catching below that low dam in the spring.
& If your ever able to go check out some awesome spots, let me know. I've fished the Rivers from Pymi to Quippa, to Wellsville.
Pa,,,? You gotta check out New Brighton Dam & the biggest secrete in Pa,,, the Montgomery dam. Go there come spring, watch & learn. Timing & water flow elevation is everything!
Man i went to a birthday party over the weekend and and the Ohio river runs through it Evansville Indiana. I bought equipment but I want to get on some of these nice fish.

Now here's what's crazy I'm south of u Marietta ohio we catch more sauger and saugeye than walleye. I could fish for them every day .

I know where that is. I'm an ohio boy and pass this place 4x a day. My question is do I need a wv fishing license? I was told I didn't as long as I'm fishing the ohio river since it boarders both states. Also where do you park? The wide spot on 2 on the bottom of the hill?

There is so many Dam,s Along the Ohio River you just have to look 👀 you will find them I no at least 10 that hold every thing including big musky just go when every species comes just like the calendar year crappies walleye musky comes in hybrid striper comes in then Bass catfish sheepshead bluegills. Like that every year 😮
