Excellent update guys! I have a question for Adi. What’s the best way to save Photoshop webP formats but keep the transparency channel simultaneously? Thanks in advance Adi. Cheers!

Hey Flavio. You don't need to do anything special to save with transparency. Just make sure you have a transparent background in the Photoshop file and you're good to go. Transparency will be kept at export in both lossy and lossless formats.

Thank you for the video! Does anyone deals with animated webp? After uploading animated webp into WP, generated thumbnail and smaller resolutions of the image does not have animation anymore :( we are on ImageMagick 7.1.1-21 Q16-HDRI x86_64 dcffc2de3:20231021. After upgrading from 6.x version to 7.1.1 we have generated sizes at least.

Hi, I am using WP 5.9.3, I cannot upload webp images to Wordpress. WordPress tells me it is not a valid file type and that I need to upload JPEG or PNG to the website.

in my photo editor saving the same image as webp made a larger file size 152kb compared to my jpeg images 132kb. Will the website still be faster if i swap them all? whats going on?

Thanks for the video but I don't see WebP selection when trying to save in windows 10, and PS 23.5.1, is it only for Mac?

Thank you very much for this video! I have a question, what can I do if I have the .jpg and .webp versions of the images in my database but the .webp is not shown on my site? I have a Wordpress website and I previously installed a plugin which created all the .webp versions of the images, it was great but I had to uninstall it cause it didn't work well with other options. Since I uninstalled it the .webp versions are not utilised anymore on my website, but I can see that they are still in the database. Any tip on how I can use them? Thank you in advance if you can help!
