I had a hobbit themed wedding on a farm. Still used folding chairs because sitting on hay bales is terrible. At least digital hay can't stab you in the butt.
I'm doing a LOTR wedding at a renovated barn this October!!! Ceremony under a huge tree :D (also folding chairs lol)

If it's not too late, I *highly* recommend having a "wedding only" email address. I got married almost two years ago, and I'm still getting emails about dress sales and photographers, even for services I never signed up for.
But, it'll all be worth it. I hope your day is lovely, and your marriage even more so.

The sunflowers make perfect sense! They grow them as crops around here (Kansas) AND bonus! They're visible really nicely behind the arch because they're such a tall plant :D

I think you can cheat the stage of growth for plants by holding shift and clicking on the plants in case anyone was wondering.

As a certified horsegirl who's seen a good number of barns up close, watching Kayla struggling to figure out how a barn is supposed to be shaped from just a few exterior images was definitely some good entertainment! I've never thought about how mysterious old barns are for most folks

Happy Anniversary! Very cute but sadly a little small for my wedding parties normally. I use the longer parties, more guests mod so I can invite more of the extended family and friends. I do plan on this gen having a small wedding but I'm dying to use a wedding setup that came with the renovated Pepper's Pub I downloaded FOREVER ago over in Britechester and I think it will finally work with my storyline (6 gens later 😆). Still, I'll throw it in my library and see if I find a use for it someday!

You basically recreated my Dad & Step Mom's wedding. They live between a corn field and an alfalfa field and had the wedding at their house. Their vegetable garden has a walkway through the middle that leads to a "patio" or like little outdoor hangout area. So we setup the aisle so that when they walked down the aisle they walked through the garden. And they've got a really old Chevy pickup that we took pictures in.

I have grown my own eggplant. They actually grow upwards like tomatoes if you're planting them in the ground. They get heavy and sag the plant, which is why people like to hang them 😉

I used to be a wedding planner and while they are magical and beautiful and it's such an honor to take part in someone's special day, the stress is like nothing else.
