Sorry guys, we just left from the Suntec outlet. The service is disappointing, we waited for 30 mins but the order did not come. Service attitude is very poor as well. Honestly, I do not recommend coming here at all.

Sorry guys, it was a great disappointment. We just had dinner over there and the service was darn bad. It was such a great disappointment. We were introduced to the $3++ for more selection such but when we ordered after that only 1 California maki came and the rest of the order wasn’t in at all. We came into the restaurant at 7:15, but the waiter came to ask for order only at 7:40. Place our order and order including ala carte chawamushi and we waited so long that we need to ask them if we can get out chawamushi to be served first and it came only at 8:15. It’s really a good almost 30mins wait for 3 chawamushi. The table beside us came in 10mins later than us but they got served 3 plates of 15 pcs sushi first instead of us. We spoke to the server and they said ours will come soon which is another almost 5mins for our first 15pc of sushi each. We then proceed to order more sushi including the $3 top up and only 1 California roll came and the others simply did not arrived on our table. We were so disappointed that we left with our stomach half filled and walk to the counter to pay the bill. We stood a good 5mins at the counter waiting for some to get us the bill to pay when there was simply no one at the cashier and when the server appeared in front of us.
, he came asking us if we would like a table.. the whole experience simply ruin our dinner and we will not be back to this restaurant again despite the freshness of the sashimi
wow thanks for sharing your honest review, i always thought once content creators hit all these well raved places, the service would be the same as what they "advertise" but sushi shouldnt be kept waiting leh, it needs to be served fresh if not expose too much, had thoughts about going there since i love sushi too, but i guess not. Will stick to conveyor belt sushi resturants like genki, sushiro. for all you can eat, i feel standards do get watered down eventually after its being raved too much.
Yes I agree, and in the video, I think zermatt mention that we can get counter seat but when we requested they say they have omakase dinner so counter seat are not available but we were there the whole night but there was not a single soul seating there at all thought out. I wonder who is having the Omakase at the counter table when there’s nobody seating. What a joke
In my opinion is just misleading if you give your viewers the wrong information, and well everyone makes mistakes, but i feel that if you're not genuine with your viewers you can lose traction - afterall content creation is about being authentic and i guess once you come to this stage, it is nowhere to be seen, as you've come to all the success and fame. I am still a fan of zermatt no doubt just that i think before he advertise better clarify between himself and what the public gets - is always expectations vs reality, i mean people genuinely want to support all these businesses at the end of the day and if you tend to put a benchnark of expectations, it will eventually lead to disappointments if the expectations are not what the advertisers promote.

Ok, I tried it. The $35 buffet comes with a few nice options like maguro, hamachi, salmon, mekajiki and tobiko. Rice was a little gummy and dense. The nigiri sizes were inconsistent. Some pieces had way more fish to rice, others were vice versa. As you can imagine, they are probably trying to utilize all of the fish including the end cuts to keep cost down, this is to be expected. The quality reminds me of Don Don Donki, which is pretty decent and honestly a great price if you want to eat a lot of nigiri. Compared to other Japanese buffet in sg, I think the fish here is slightly fresher, especially the hamachi.
The premium buffet is apparently the $35 buffet plus additional nigiri pieces made from premium fish + fried and grilled dishes. It is NOT an AYCE uni and otoro buffet because admittedly, such a buffet would never be sustainable for the restaurant at this price and if it is, I wouldn't want to eat that quality of uni ><
This video showed plates of otoro and chutoro, which is NOT what you will get for $35, even if this video kinda hints visually that you can expect these cuts. Also, the video mentioned that the chef will serve 15 pieces of the more 'premium cut'. Nahhhhh, impossible at this price point. We got a 14 pieces of the cuts specified in the buffet as expected... Makes me wonder whats the point of preserving a plate of the same nigiri...

You mentioned that the first 15 pieces are your choice but it’s not the case. It’s 15 pieces of basically what the chef wants to give you from the 5 choice of nigiris. It is very misleading actually. You can’t choose otoro or chutoro like you said in your video for the first 15
