I wrote a little letter to John the other day, very spontaneously. It goes like this : Well it's been two years now, Two years since i've first head a John Frusciante song. Little did i know how much his music would change my life back then. I have since been on the greatest musical journey i have ever been a probably ever will be. I am so grateful to John, his music answered so many questions and asked so many others. He made me cry, he made me laugh, he made me feel like never i had felt before. I cannot enough express how much i love him and how grateful i am for him making music. I believe i am not the only one that's been on this journey since they listened to John, and i hope it's been as incredible as mine. Thank you John, i love you.

Omar Arcos I feel exactly the same as the thoughts expressed here. Frusciante’s music seems to affect people in a profoundly positive way, and I also have strong feelings about writing to him to thank him for what he has given to us all. Other times I think he must know his effect on people, therefore is it fair to interrupt his privacy and seclusion? Then I imagine how encouraged and happy he might feel to receive letters from all over the world, thanking him, expressing good will and wishing him well. In the end, I can never decide, and since there doesn’t seem to be a way to write to him, the letter doesn’t get written.

I've been a huge frusciante fan for a long time, particularly in his solo work but despite all that i've seen this song in related videos probably a hundred times and never clicked it. just now i, for whatever reason thought that now i was ready and realized i should've listened to this song a long time ago

@Rags44 i have always listened to his music at the saddest points in my life, from heartbreak, to a friends death...somehow when im hurt, and i listen to johns music, it hurts me so much more that i feel so much better in the end...almost like it gets it out of my system...sounds weird, but his music is highly beneficial in that regard

@Joppie119 he didnt leave because he didnt want to be famous. he just didnt enjoy the band at that time. he said he only stayed in band because he liked to play with Flea.

@DwightkSchrute101 in begin 90s the peppers were becoming famous very quickly and john couldn't handle that and they didnt really speak in after the BSSM album.glad they worked it out and made a few great albums !
