Man Den really needs to work on his mic preset, very over-compressed - no dynamic range left, which is a shame because we know how good den can sound
Blame discord/whatever voip service they're using - I'd say it's probably mostly out of their hands in terms of viable setups

Idk the hype on DEN, maybe it is because of his highly produced and mastered bbu style routines, which sounds great, but every "raw" competition (also live) I've watched he sounds kind of anoying for me especially high notes, also he is super repetitive, so it makes it hard to enjoy, still it is my opinion.

every single thing he does is the same EVERY time. chris brown type singing to then add mid fillers and bass then do bass voice variation at the end. Its the exact same every routine every battle.

Mic issues aside, Just me that feels like den is mid at beatboxing with a good inward bass?
maybe his kick or k snare isnt as clean or strong as other beatboxers but he makes up for it with structure, singing, drops, inward bass etc. etc. hes not even close to mid hes easily top 10 beatboxers in the world right now
@@succulentpresence9030 Definitely a stretch to say he’s top 10, he lacks clarity and can be inconsistent. He heavily relies on his inward bass because he knows he lacks in few crucial departments like consistency and sometimes timing.
Good Inward bass = good beatboxer.
Actually, Good Routines = Good Beatboxer.
@@succulentpresence9030 I disagree maybe top 30, his singing isn’t always consistent and he has clarity issues too. His first round when he did the inertia drop it didn’t flow well at the start too, seemed a bit random.
Yeah I think it's just you. Den is definitely one of the best right now when it comes to composition and sound arrangement, kinda weird to assume he's "relying" on a certain sound to come off as skilled when in fact it's just his signature sound just like with other beatboxers.
