I read four books of the long-list. I adore The details by Ia Genberg. is so beuatiful and so intimate the way to portray the end of every relationship and It includes a lot of mention of books. Crooked plow was a surprise for me when I read it. it is a realistic portray of slavery in a plantation and it includes a depiction of violence against women in that time. The house on via Gemito is a book about the inestability of an artist and how the painter is able to almost destroy the life of his family. And Kairos, that I read the last year, has an oustanding beginning
I got two of my predictions right , too! I was so happy with this and I love your logic of 1/6 and 15%. It sounds so much better! Even though I didn’t get many on my list I’m really excited about this list. A lot I want to read here.

Misery books reflect real life - that’s why! I am also interested to read ‘Lost On Me’ 👍🏼
