I've watched the new Eat Bulaga only once... It is a disgrace to say Betong to Tito Sotto, Paolo Contis to Vic Sotto, and Buboy to Joey De Leon - please don't compare them because they are not on the same level - not by any stretch. Betong Sumaya's line, "amazing" is so overly used by him, it hurt my ears already every time he says it... sobrang gasgas na. He is making a face to be funny - he is overdoing it, hindi na nakakatawa. The energy is too much - too loud. Nakakapagod ang vibes because parang super hyper na. This is a noon-time show, I am taking it as though a break in between working hours - so if you are tired and stressed sa work - you would want something to entertain you but not in a way that it would drain more energy out of you for the rest of the day... The games - they are like parlor games you play at children's parties. if the Jalosjos were bored as Pinoy Henyo and Bawal Judgmental portions ng original Eat Bulaga, I don't know how they feel about the games they have. The music and the bands - somehow they are missing something... they are good but they don't touch your soul. People would never stop comparing them to the original Eat Bulaga and it is not fair to these people because they can grow themselves and maybe excel more. There is no one else to blame but the Jalosjos, if they want to change, then they need to give these people the right tools, resources, and equipment to do so... give them their own identity so people would know and associate them with a noon-time show that truly belongs to them, something they could claim their "own". Much like the original Eat Bulaga is associated with the TVJ - then the "Yorme-BuLoTong" should also be known and associated with a show that would be associated with them. TAPE Inc, can never expect people to associate Eat Bulaga with Yorme-BuLoTong because they are different people than TVJ and the original Dabarkads. If the Jalosjos truly want change, then the change must start from them... change the name and let it be identified to their new hosts and show... I understand that some of us are biased, we are favoring the original Eat Bulaga, the TVJ, and the original Dabarkads over the new EB and new hosts. I could not make myself laugh either with the jokes because in my head I see the original Eat Bulaga and not the new ones - they just don't compare and I know we should not but for as long as they carry the EB name, it will never connect in my head. And Chris Ulo - to be fair - you talk too much too.
