Like ParrotX2 and his LifeSteal SMP Series where he broke bedrock or blew up 2000 TNT. Not Technoblade / TommyInnit / or any other Dream SMP member. This is a new and original Minecraft idea like HermitCraft or LastLife with Grian and MumboJumbo. Survival is harder than Hardcore Minecraft because PVP is on.

Actually for the texture it might be faster to have a texture of cake without transparency. cz blending take time. with one pixel only, almost everything of the texture is transparent. Completely random comment tho
I'm not sure how much of an improvement that would be though, as the shader would still be blending the texture to the fragment.

Changing the texture wont do anything, as the entity is still there just you cant see it, but its still being rendered and you can still interact with jt
@@Scramblegg That's not the point, the point is about transparency, transparency means blending pixels, and that is a costly process. in general transparency in video game are a pain
you know how hard he worked on this just by seeing that he was level 8 at the start of the video and worked his way up to level 100 just by trading and mining

For anybody who wants to know what mod they used for no lag, it was a fabric mod called entity culling. What it basically does is not render entities that we can't see to reduce lag.
This is sheer genius bro, losing or wining is a different thing all together, but the "trap" is freaking insane... this i would say one of those insane scicraft "machines", about which we hear is utter awe... i feel these genius game mechanics is the reason why minecraft is so so so fun

Note: I think Clownpierce Survived because the cake trap was built in the center. Notice he is more off to the sides and can still move without getting entirely frozen like Midmystic at 16:49-16:50 and PrinceZam.
Notice at 16:36 & 16:47 you see the trap is mostly built in the center.
Clownpierce still moves at 16:56 because he is at the sides.
But You can also see Midmystic stuck frozen in the background of their fights at 17:05 because they are in the center

The title says 12240 cakes meaning that there mustve been about 266 double chests filled with cake. if these were netherite shovels (being the cheapest to make) we would need about 12240 diamonds, 48960 ancient debris and 48960 gold ingots. Along with the time it takes to get all the resources, smelt all of the things, craft everything and set it all up parrot would need to work for a month non-stop

If you have a zombie spawner, zombification becomes the best strategy for iron to emerald trade discounts. This is because if you zombify and cure the villager once, the trade becomes 1 iron for 1 emerald, but it’s not a permanent trade. So if you zombify and cure it a second time, the iron discount becomes permanent and is an amazing source of emeralds. You can do this without a zombie spawner, but it’s much more efficient with a spawner than without

PS: i think this mod is called entity culling, it stops rendering any entity that is not in your field of view
It's an optifine setting
Optif only does it for where you are facing. Not behind blocks
It utilizes a basic game optimization technique called Occlusion Culling, which does exactly that, but can also be applied to rendering geometry and things like lighting

you know what woulda been a good idea? after shooting out cakes and bouncing them up for like 4 mins, a row of hoppers should've extended out, collected the cakes, and shot them back into the system. this coulda stopped the despawning issue, and if the cakes were held for long enough inside the hoppers, the saboteurs could've gotten confused, and wouldn't have discovered the cake stash until it was too late.

hoppers can't be pushed by pistons :( minecart hoppers would've worked though, but they'd be suuuuper inefficient
