Why not use torch on direct insulation? Also no vcl layer and cross laying the capsheet to the underlay error. Laps showing everywer

Didn't see any damp proof membrane under the insulation or the insulation sheets taped together?

Warm roof_ timber deck first. Vapour control layer over deck. Then insulation. Then partial bonded layer. Followed by cap sheet. Can't you guys fix drips without silly hardboard formers? Not a fire extinguisher in site. And judging by what I can see no 4mm bleed on laps.....troubles on the way with this roof .starting with insulation issues for sure. You can always tell chancers never have a small decent detail torch and ignore the fact they will quite easily burn the property down by torching away at unprotected upstand etc use a s/a underlay over exposed details .and a hot air gun ffs

Hey, I’m retrofitting a felt roof with a skylight. Do you know if I need to add an underlay to the upstand/kerb? Or can I just prime the timber upstand and torch the felt straight on?

Why ply over the insulation? I keep getting told you don't install that layer and go straight to water proof layer??

Great video, I'd really like some help with the front corner cuts if anyone can help? Where the front flashing rolls up and over where it meets the tilt fillet . Thanks

The underlay is supposed to run into the gutter aswell just like the capping, but staggered bond. Doing it this way you have no bonding joints crossing which is a much better quality job and the way it is supposed to be done.

should the sheets on top of the insulation not be OSB

You shouldn't criss cross the laps, all layers should be staggered and fall towards the gutter.

good for at least 20 years??? you would want 50 surely, after all that prep and materials. Much prefer colourbond sheets and 1 membrane.
