Everything you said is facts but what really bothers me is that they shut down the servers of the old games so that we can't even go back on the old games to play with our builds. Even Madden still has their old servers up for old games. I was still getting games on 2k22 current gen during 2023 in Rec and Park.

Unfortunately you are correct. Ive been playing since 2k5. Had to retire after 2k21. Its not basketball and its not fun

My first was 2k5 and my fav is 11
2k fell off when they let the CZcams and online community effect gameplay. They forgot how to make a fun game, and it became more about what CZcamsr can we use to market our game..Now you can’t even do real life ish in a video game. I’m 37 been playing since the first one.. 20 was the last fun 2k imo. Shooting is horrible now, player control is worse than it’s ever been, and the fun factor is non existent. When people say 24 is good im like “yeah you are the problem” lol

Well I watched just about your whole video... And I respect your opinion, I am kind of an old head, I have played literally every single 2k... I actually still have my dreamcast and 2k and 2k2... My Favorite is 2k5... Your premise is right however I disagree with the conclusion you came too... 2k is trash because of gameplay isn't fun... When I play, I play player lock MyNBA ERAS... Seeing as you have not played the last 2 you missed that... Its probably one of the coolest innovations 2k has implemented since MyCareer in 2k10... You can literally take NBA HISTORY back to the '82-'83 season... And replay it how you see fit... Each ERA presents its own different gameplay challenges... Because its all different based on rules and rule changes... So that's actually pretty fun... But the reason I disagree about the overall point is that 2k is trash because it has a very trash community... Its is one of the only gaming communities that I have been apart of that players actively try to break the game in an unfair way to win that its ridiculous and all the gameplay changes and modifications have been to mitigate alot of that to create a balance game... But thats because this game is not and can't be a good representation of reality... In no reality would everyone be a Superstar Player... However in 2k you are... Because the game is at it's best when players are of all skill levels... So people fill roles... 2k is really a RPG but no one seems to realize this... Just like Diablo or WoW or DnD... You need different roles to be filled... And its too much ego in the community to have good role players... Like those other RPG communities have whole subsections of players who enjoy filling a specific role or type of player/playstlye how ever basketball is a copycat game... And so everyone is filling one role... In different variations but the same role... I chose to stop participating in the online game modes and have enjoyed my 2k experience a hell of a lot more...

The fact that @adamsliva is allowing this product to be the sole representative of the @nba with such poor gameplay price gouging and outdated repetitive features that are ass is disappointing. This franchise is mediocre that a compliment. @EASPORTS REAL BALLERS NEED YOU
I'm not getting 2k24 at all I'm sticking with 23 unless they fix the problems and vc issues...I'm not getting anything new until they fix it and 2k 23 isn't too bad but too much vc and money for a yearly game and vc doesn't transfer over gta is different because gta 5 been out for over 10 yrs and not yearly games with trash systems microtransaction and etc if they make the game free or 20 dollars it would be different

It for me, and played it just on gamepass and even than. It’s too greedy and what you get for it, no thanks. Ppl might like the changes, I don’t and I’m not even looking out for 2k25. With the gaming market filled with games and newer coming out, the game becomes even less relevant unfortunately. But in the end it’s 2k themselves doing this. It’s mad that money rules over skills in a game. You either pay up, or get smash dunk in the face every single time till your sorry ass grinded everything to get to that point too, but till than many have quit already, it’s hard to get dunked in the face by some 99 and knowing he paid big bucks for it. For that money, his char should be that good, but still. Skills are long gone in this game
I bought this game and like over 100 dollars of vc. Ive played the game like 30 mins in total trash unplayable 🤣

2k24 is the best 2K in years actually, and of course VC prices will go up. Literally everything does. And the park this year is HUGELY reduced to use the faster electric skateboard or one of the many subways. Oh and Affiliations are back and they both have specific boosts you can earn. This is the best 2K since like 16/17

@CHAOTICxB0MB if you didn’t notice, this video is about the 2k franchise as a whole, not just 24. You’re the only person I’ve seen say 24 is good, everyone else has said that they completely ruined 2k.
