The best thing about this tank is the insane rate of fire and armour. Most tanks I would think carefully who do I shoot. But because of Black Prince's 3.4 reload, you can just shrug and switch targets and still deal damage. And no one talks about how effective this tank is on the battlefield. Whenever I see a Black Prince on the enemy team, I'll target it immediately because I know just how much this tank can do to change the tide of a battle. Tanks like Kv3, Is2, and other slow heavies can't do anything against the lovely 3k dpm. The only tank I would say is a worthy opponent to the Black Prince is of course, the Tiger 1. While grinding for the Caernarvon, I would platoon with a Tiger 1 and it's such and easy grind. And omg the fact that I can perma-track any tank feels absolutely glorious. And this tank can work both as a support heavy and aggressive at the same time. I'm just really disappointed in the rest of this line. Like, from the Matilda all the way through the Churchills and finally the Black Prince, the tanks play very similarly. But then comes the Caernarvon, Conqueror and Fv215b, it feels like a totally different tech tree line. Yeah sure Caernarvon to Fv215b is good and all but it's just way too different from the rest of the line. And there's other tanks in those tiers that are honestly way more comfortable to drive.
Favorite tank in the game, i love killing smashers and anihis with this tank, love it. Also forgot to mention, it’s the only tank that I enriched for 3k gold only when sales where up. Got 600 games with it, modt played tank in my garage.
T29, IS, Tiger 1... there is a bunch of great tier 7 vehicles to counter the Smasher and Anni, most of them are Heavies but there is still some mediums and TDs that can counter them effectively.
I have the smasher and honestly its not even op. My experience with it has been well below what I expected. Its like a tier 7 kv2. The armour only work against some equal and lower tiers the standard pen is bad the aim time and gun handling are bad aswell the only thing it has going for it are the he pen and heat pen.

The black prince is a rare bird, a high dpm pew pew with enough armor to stand and trade with just about anything 1v1. It's not perfect armor but it is enough to get some bounces and increase the dpm lead with every one. It is also demoralizing to watch your hit points evaporating rapidly with the crew voice glitching because you are taking such rapid fire.
I was skeptical of this tank at first but when i got it, it became my main and my best performing tank. Absolutely love pulling out this tank and wreck players.
My first tier 7 i got a week ago is the Tiger(P), which felt horrible till getting the upgraded gun. Will be aiming for a BP to add to my garage. Going back to lower tiers makes you appreciate how fun a fast firing tank is
I played this tank in boss mode, and its insane because if its the boss, its gun turns into a machinegun. And it is one of my favorite tier 7 because its firepower is destructive and armor I love it and speed is nice.
@@catseye2260 I once held off an entire invasion from the enemy team on mines in a churchill 7 while my team was busy doing nothing. The armour rlly saved me bc i was just bouncing shots left and right. The fact that it was a t5-6 game kinda takes away from the achievement tho. That tank is truly busted in armour and armament. Im not even mad about how slow it is bc the armour is just superb. But it does mean you have to consider carefully which side u are going to go to bc you cant relocate at all

This tank is definitely an OP tank in my opinion and can easily beat a smasher and annihilator in 1vs1 and in general its pretty close to them in OPness
I dont know, i feel like the Churchill VII is better, even tho it is slow af but I feel like I get More bounces in the Churchill... I dont know if I played it wrong before but in my experience the armor is better on the Churchill than on the Black Prince... You can write your experiences under this, i would love to hear other opinions on this
One time, I blocked way too much damage from a tier 7 tank trying to kill me while I was blocked by him. And eventually, I ended up killing him without losing too many hp. So, It was a win-win. I always beat up my opponents with this tank. Edit: even for a tier 7, it also has a fast reload time like the matilda too!
The BP is my all time favourite tier 7 tank and you would be surprised that it's turret mainly the mountlet can bounce tier 10 shells except the TDS like JGs,grilles and so on due to high penetration. One time I beat a T-22 medium with my BP in a face hug which he struggled to pen even with gold for some reason

T-22 Medium getting stuck in a facehug with a BP in a 1v1 is a bad sign already Sure, the turret is cracked against the APCR, but HEAT? yeah no, big block of butter Even if HEAT is not an option because it's lower DPM (big oopsie to get into that facehug now isn't it?), the deck is an easy pen if the gun can't get low enough to get the superstructure In short, the T-22 Medium did the improbable
@@ak_nora Eh not really in a 1v1 its only in training room its like the tier ten is the boss and the one that 1-7 is fighting against the boss I couldnt really remember how many are there in my team like 2-3 but I was quite isolated and the the person in the T-22 did beat me in other rounds. Also on paper yeah you can pen by heat but in battle the turret is quite troll but the hull can be troll on the angle plate between the two flat plates but it can be pened and not to mention it has tracks that sticks out of the sides that sorta acts like a space armour
I never interested on British tank. Until i got Carbon camo (black camo) for tier VII and i was thinking it's should be good on Black prince maybe, and i tried to grind it and it was great tank. I even mastery it on 25th battles while 3 vs 1 lmao
@@fangzu612 I was in a lot of scenarios when I face hug a Tiger I and they never penetrated me, cuz black prince is a low profile tank kinda and Tiger 1 is taller
Not only are the players worse at those tiers they don't have any crew skills trained which does make a difference it means you can come up against another black prince and you just out trade them out bounce them have less module damage etc.
It really is a powerful tank. But on the other hand not really a problem if you know how to deal with it. 🤷♂️ But isn't it the same with every vehicle? 😅
Eh. I will still choose Smasher over Black Prince. There is a reason WG lock it in crate forever. ;) Black Prince is a strong tank, in an obsolete environment. The tank belong to the bygone era where there is not a lots fast tank, where match is often slower than current meta. :)
Oh and I'm a 47 percenter because I'm trying to go down tech trees that suck just to get to the better tanks within those tech trees, not that that's a reason, you just seem to be against players with less than 60 percent win rates

Well ever since the chieftain mk 6 and super conq came into the game, there wasnt any real reason to grind for the tier 10 of this line unless u rlly wanted it
Just mix it with a jadgpanther and death is ready for you I know this because...I once had a amazing friend...we both did amazing performances in a platoon with my jadgpanther and his blackprince but...Now that he's gone...Without him...It's just not the same...

I wasn't sure about this tank, but after getting it and using it with speed boost I can say the BP is definitely the tier 7 equalizer

I'm a player with only 1600+ games on wot blitz, and I'm stuck in tier 8. This video really helps in how to get better at the game, keep it up😊

Lamao 45% wr players are the standard for f2p as it's very hard to grind a vehicle to max
I ain't gonna brag about my winrate but my winrate as a f2p is 52% with 3k battles my best tank is kv2 and tiger 1

Churcill Mk.VI is the tier 6 version of Black Prince ... Tier wise .. it's better than BP .. at least in my oppinion
