  • Hey everyone! This is the follow up video of why you shouldn't get the NEW Z. Hopefully in this one you are convinced to maybe get one!
Thank you for all of the support!

I've found genuine car enthusiasts fall for the Z. The fake vents on the Supra along with the fake Toyota badge and over styling is a turn off. Great video, really enjoyed it.

Thanks for this video… a bit more detailed. Awaiting mine here in Australia. We only get the Performance variant which has everything included. Have waited a year. Shame the audio isn’t the best, I’ve heard from others that changing the Sub in the trunk does the trick. AlsoX shame about the tyres and I’ll be changing the exhaust!
The video could be a bit more polished… some external B-roll, depth of field in the internal charting camera…

I just realize the headlights on the new Z also mimics the z32 with the solid round projector and rectangle led.
    That’s fucking fantastic

Too bad they are a little to expensive for what they are especially if you want an lsd it’s 50k. This was supposed to be the obtainable sports Z cars were always known for. On top of that dealer mark ups and it’s not a completely new vehicle it’s crazy.

Got any thoughts on the break in? How many miles and when was your first oil change?

Owners manual says there is a 1,000 mile break in period. That being said, anything new gets ran at the factory and they definitely don't follow the same "break in procedures" that are outlined in the manual. I guess just be responsible and it shouldn't effect your ride. Mine has ~9,000 miles on it and still feels great. I definitely (😉) followed the break in procedure. Also, I waited until 5k to do my first oil change. Oil seemed okay, and I wouldn't worry about it unless you're planning on tuning.

Great video, being more of a GT car and not good on track, I'd just buy the sport model and save 10k on all the stuff that doesn't work that well...ha!

We haven't seen it yet (specifically track times), maybe because these are still hard to get, but I bet if you throw some coilovers and stickier tires on this thing, it completely changes it dynamically. If you go sport you lose the brakes and LSD, which are super necessary if you plan to do any sort of performance driving.

Good point, but for 5-6k you can get better brakes and a better lsd. Most of us won't be tracking our z, it's just to pretty...ha! @@culley65
