Blon BL-03 REVIEW - Awesome single dynamic driver!

- Here is my review of the Blon BL-03. These are a dynamic driver which uses a carbon nanotube diaphragm and is the same technology used as in the great Semkarch SKC CNT1.
These are a fantastic single dynamic and are a lot better than what I was expecting and have the same driver as the Tanchjim Oxygen which is over $200!

I have this and this is my best budget in ear maybe because i preferred this sound signature. Organic sound,wide soundstage and very good sound separation

Hiya Mate, I brought them on your recommendation and I absolutely agree to your opinion about their sound quality but the fit is just seems deal breaker ,I completely understand that fit is really subjective matter but any better fitting iem comparable or better than blons (similar sound signature coherent and musical that's what I would look for as well) recommendations. For reference I have Revonext qt5 and love their fit. By the way you are quite underrated in my views and doing fantastic job, keep it up Pal! (Budget under 50£)

i bought this blon 03 and I have to say that they are really good and I am a demanding music lover, first of all the stage for in-ear headphones is also in great detail at a high level the bass could be shallower but faster but still it is good and the sound source is also important with my redmi note 4x sweep and yet the issue of the cable is not true that the stock cable is weak I have versions without a microphone and the cable is very good and these cartoons that other cable improves sound is nonsense I say you need to have a good source and not any cables.
The only issue I have with the stock cable is the ear guide shape as it in my experience makes them come put of my ears so I went for a aftermarket cable. I agree with you for everything else.
anyway, better for me would be earbuds type headphones but you have to pay for a good 5x as much as blon03 for example shozzy bk or cygnus

can a smart phone run blon-03 decently or in max volume? since it has a 32 ohms impedence..
It can be run fine off a phone.
I just saw video where someone uses tfz connector... and says it is the best fitting...🙂✌️

I thought the same thing also until I change the tips out for triple flanges.
What was your impression with the triple flanges?

Thanks for the video. Do you think with better tips that these BL-03's could be worn not over ear? I enjoy being able to wear T4's with a free hanging cable.
The later batches of these have longer tips which sound suitable or you could use tips like Spinfits, Sony Hybrids or even KZ tips. I use mine with the included grey tips and to run them cable down you have to swap them over so using the left earpiece in the right ear and vice versa.
What if I don’t use any dac amp players, just straight to my iPhone Xs? Will it be a significant difference? I value convenience very much

Do these have any noticeable congested sound in fast paced music like edm?
I don't think they do but some people say otherwise. They perform their best when amped.
Do you know what the nozzle width is? I will be buying these soon and want to get the proper tips, but don't know the width
Not sure to be honest. I use the included grey tips and the included black tips are not very good.

The dual flange spinfits fit. The Dekoni Bulletz also fit
My RHA 750i just got a fault after 5 years. Are these up to RHA levels?
I have not tried any RHA models unfortunately but the Blon is a solid recommendation but bear in mind about the tips and cable.

Hey man how do this compare to the new CCA CKX? Can the blon can stand up to the CKX?
CKX is decent. I found that they are a bit different comparing the single dynamic driver to a 7 driver hybrid.

@@braiizen4112 Separation is better with the CKX but not massively and they both have good bass but the Blon sounds more natural with the single DD but the CKX is technically better.
What camera are you using for recording
Do you think i should buy these and replace my earpods?
That choice is yours but I think the Blon is great but I do mention it's short comings. Keep the earpods as backup earphones :)
Blon 03 vs trn v90 which is better?
The V90 has the easier fitment and has a V shaped sound where as the Blon 03 has a more musical sound in my opinion but the fitment might be more difficult for you.
How's the fit?
Fit is fine for me but we all have different ear anatomy. I found the stock cable the biggest problem personally as it pushed it out of my ear.

Mids are there and detailed. Not the typical V shape from China.

@@unchartedm9413 Maybe a very mild V shape at best. A mid centric iem are the TRN X6 or the Hisenior B5+ which I might review soon.
How would you put clarity, imaging, and seperation against 100-200usd sets?
I don't have or have tried any in that price bracket but they are definitely worth buying at the price as long as you get another cable for it.

I don't listen to heavy metal sorry but from the genre's I tried them with they performed fine but maybe they can do that but on a lower volume?

Carlos, I can certify that the TinHiFi P1’s are excellent for extreme metal, but $150-175 USD though.
They aren't fast enough to not get congested. But the sound signature is definitely amazing for heavy metal.
It gets pretty congested, yes. But I haven't tried with an amp yet to see how it goes.

The inline mic? It is okay.
Don't know about 'awesome'. It's certainly got its share of issues. Acceptable is more like it.

Overhyped iem... Sounds dull.
Make sure the vent hole is not blocked as they are not perfect but should not sound dull. What are you powering them with?
