    I turned 65 this year and began riding on a Puch 125cc when I was 10, that I bought from my great uncle who brought it back after World War II.
    I've gone through a bunch of bikes over the years but I've got a 2006 Shadow Aero that my wife likes riding with me, so it's not going anywhere.
    I thought I was going to buy my dream bike an Arch KRGT-1, but I never seem to hear word 1 from Arch, aside from the usual stuff: Thank you for your interest in Arch Motorcycles, etc., though I've got no idea why.
    My typical response about crap like that is: WE'LL SEE.

    Good day. Dynojet is great. I also wanted to tune in using Powercomander, but I have some type of Shadow that has injection. It's 2007 and there is no Powercomander for this type. or my mechanic couldn't buy it. He tuned the fuel mixture with special resistors and Shadow works without problems. But I'm a little sorry that it failed to tune in 100%. In any case, the exhausts brought improvements. Do you happen to know if chokes are made in these exhausts? Maybe you have a better overview. 😉. I wish you a lot of miles ..

      I wonder if your has had the injection kit put on to convert it? I don’t know anything about those, have only heard about them. The tech that helped (classmate of mine) and works in a shop came up with this idea being he didn’t find any good option either. The changes that were done, though, resulted in about the same type of results. This way, it looks stock, but isn’t. if i just take out the snorkel and do nothing else i have all stock pipes and nothing done to the carb it's a 2007 with 7000 miles would it run the same and add alittle more horsepower... or would i have to rejet the carb?

    • @TWOWHEELD
      @TWOWHEELD  Před 2 lety +1

      That’s pretty low miles on your bike! You most likely will need to re-jet the carb. Some say if you only change the pipes you don’t need to do the jets, but I started out that way and it didn’t run the greatest until I did the jets and while at it, took off the snorkel and put a K&N air filter on.

      Yeah. Maybe save up to do the exhaust, carb, and the air box all at the same time. Doing that change does give it some more power and sounds great. Thank you for being here! Ride safe! 👊🏻

    Hello
    I have this combination and the sound is great :-)
    As you say. Gggrrrrrrrrr .... :-D
    So far, I have an aibox mounted. Doesn't it hurt your Shadow to suck warm air from the engine?

    • @TWOWHEELD
      @TWOWHEELD  Před 3 lety +1

      I would imagine there is some warm air coming in when not moving, but it should have good flow while riding. The tech that did the work didn’t seem to have any problems recommending this method. He has been around bikes for as long as I can remember. Maybe being water cooled, it makes a difference as well? That’s a great question!

      The question is interesting. :-)
      So you don't have a cover on the back? So do you have a hole in there?
      Suction is therefore direct. It will definitely have an even better effect than me. Sometimes there is a good sound from the suction filter. :-)
      And when will Cobra come to your machine? :-)

    • @TWOWHEELD
      @TWOWHEELD  Před 3 lety +1

      @@tompasa425 the back of the stock air box is still there. There is a hole in the back where the snorkel normally would attach. That is opened up and air funnels through there and into the filter.
      Please clarify the last question. I have Cobra Streetrod Slashdowns on. Are you asking when the Cobra Hypercharger is coming?

      Yes, I asked if you would also put cobra exhausts on the second motorcycle. Or if you already have them there. :-)

      @@tompasa425 yes. I put the Cobra exhaust on about a year ago, so that step was already done and just needed the carb and intake done.

    This guy leans toward safety a little too much. Wearing your helmet while working on your bike is a little overkill!

      @TWOWHEELD  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Thanks for your comment, but the helmet is being worn because the camera is mounted to it, and the microphone is inside the helmet so it provides hands free recording. The camera will always point to where I am turning my head towards.

      First off, thank you for watching the entire video, and I appreciate your comment. This video, along with the majority of our other videos are POV videos. You are seeing things from my perspective. In this particular video, I used my hands to show emphasis on certain areas of the motorcycle, along with using my hands to pick up the physical parts to show all the viewers. It would be pretty difficult to do a video like this, without hands being visible. (Kind of like a cooking video.) It really is no different than any other motovlogger out there. You will see almost all of our hands while we ride as well. Do I at times talk and move my hands. Yes. When I am standing in front of someone talking, I generally do hand motions to animate a conversation. This is actually something that is proven to show engagement with your audience. Speakers on a stage who give a speak with no hand movement versus those who may use their hands, do not receive the same engagement from their audience. Anyways, I could go on about why my hands are showing, but there is no need to. If you did watch the entire video, you may understand why. I do thank you for taking the time to engage and leave a comment. Assuming you may ride or thinking about riding, ride safe. ✌🏼
