Popping up on your surfboard whether backside or frontside there are some very crucial similarities, But, it's the subtle differences that will make or break the wave.
This is simple, but with all the simple things, it's easy to miss if you've never thought about it.

I agree! Pop ups before bottom turns! A good pop-up sets up your entire ride. Just like the pop-corn in a movie theater! All I need are some tasty pop-ups, another cool pop-up, and I’m fine..

Why don’t you have any videos of you surfing? Besides that same one of you surfing a longboard in white water. I think it would give more credibility if you’d provide some real examples of your surfing.

I understand that it gives him more credibility if he is also good in practice, but I have taken in-person classes with great surfers that didn't know how to give any good advice. And from two videos that I watched from this guy, the positioning to catch the wave and these hands staggered helped me catch a lot more waves in my next session.
