- I've gotten a lot of inspiration from other CZcams users, so it's about time I share some of my own mods here.
It's a 2008 Harley Sportster Nightster XL1200N.
Bught it second hand and tweaked it to my own likings.
Big thanks to my dad for helping me with fabrication!
Also, I recommend getting a Clymer shop manual, or similar, it's saved me a few times.

One of the best looking sportsters I have seen
Just recently purchased a 2008 sportster nightster 8021 miles, one owner, no modifications. Super psyched to make it my own & change a few things.
Stumbled on your video while I wad looking for mod ideas for my Wide Glide. My first bike was a Sportster and I've always liked the Nightsters and I can say, without any shadow of a doubt, your bike is the absolute SICKEST looking sportster (of any variety) I've ever seen. Your vinyl work and design scheme are great, I love your indicators. Overall a very well planned and put together bike, absolutely love it!
Thank you, really appreciate that!
Agree, Nightsters are great, real fun to modify.
THIS is what a sportster was born to look like.
That small spider throughout the vid
I rubbed my screen twice.
@@guffinator70 dang same
@@guffinator70 seriously i smudged the screen with my thumb trying to kill it
The nicest build I have seen for awhile !
Nice job, cool blinkers, that's a sweet example of what a nightster can look like.
I love all the details. Totally how I’d build my sportster if I had the budget. Great job.
This is probably the coolest sportster I've seen on the internet.
Only one thing I'd add to this bike personally and that's a headlight mask just to give it a mean face but this is sick I love it!!
Simply Beautiful, your talent and imagination truly shows through on this bike.
you see the little spider "lol" nice bike Bro"
Very nice, I ride that same year Nightster! Just getting started on the modifications.
this is a really good looking bike mate well done i have a sportster here and its my first harley from 10 years ago and im going to do this similar style with mine for the custom looks

Thanks for holding the camera nice and still and making subtle movements! Nice bike too!
That's a very cool bike dude. I've been inspired to take my sportster in a similar direction.
Thanks! ...and enjoy your chopping. Sportsters are great fun to work on.
That is Sharp as Hell. Great Job
the handlebar signal lights are the bomb
Very good inspiration, sweet ride!
very clean looking bike. thumbs up.
Great vision & well thought out. I will dog you for the thank lift lad... Proper bobbers never had tank lifts.
Great job man, looks sweet!!!
Great Video! Also, thank you for adding your parts list!
You took my idea!!! Lol Im gonna put a 'punisher' skull on my gas tank too bike looks great

Beautiful mate from Australia
clean, beautiful bike!
Dream bike for sure
Perfect. I really like the naked belt drive. I gotta do that.
Super nice.
Great looking ride brother man, the spider on you lens kept making me laugh though.
Nice bike bro! You gave me so many ideas. If I were you I would definitely paint the engine black and put some black RSD upper fork covers on it to complete the look
Have it down to bare frame now, black powder coat on engine covers are done, wrinkle black on the engine case is up next.
Nice bike mann
I spent the first few minutes trying to clean your fly from my PC screen :-)
Beautiful bike!
Still better than today's motorcycle designs.
It’s sick for a sportster
well done sir. one of my fav's.and almost exactly what i want
@Taylor M (no reply button on your post for some reason)
I know, I had the same concerns, they're not listed as a fit for the Nightster, so I contacted PM and they guaranteed that the 6 piston calliper that I wanted was a direct bolt on (Part Nr. 0051-2917-BM). The 6 piston calliper needs a 13" rotor, but I think the 4 piston version is a direct fit on the stock 11,5 " rotor.
If you have any questions, just drop PM a line via their website, they're quick to answer.
coolest ive ever seen
Great bike. Also, what country do you live in? The background sounds are very tropical.
Yeah, good ears 😄 It's in Thailand
very nice, clean, bike !!
Wow, really nice. Spider is great for Team Dark :)
Nice looking bike. They sound better with a straight pipe
This is a badass bike
That’s one lovely looking bike ❤
Gorgeous bike man great !!!!!!
Holly Balls.....This is sweet.
MAN ! this is BADASS ! stolen some ideas for my nightster ;) realy nice work
Hey! Awesome inspiration. Question about the drag bars. Are these with or without dimples? Do you have cables running inside the bars? Also how good are the moto gadget grips?
Cheers bud!
The bars have dimples, but I'm not using them, all electric wires are internal.
I personally like the grips and they look great together with the bar end indicators. These are the billet ones, but they now sell rubber ones as well.
motogadget.com/en/griff-taster/gummigriff-m-grip-soft/m-switch.html
Only issue I've had with them so far was when the grub screws that holds the inner retaining ring vibrated loose. Put some thread lock on them and its been ok since.
beautiful bike,,good job looks like for a contest👍
I had some big twins ,I have a evo softail now , but nothing sounds better then a sporty , twin cam. shovel, or evo, they just sound off the hook. and also Harleys always sound better with the idle up , I hate when there turned down.
Wow, nice work!
COOL MACHINE BRO.
very very well done
Nice job man,...luv it
You've done a FANTASTIC job with this bike, man. I just bought a 2007 Nightster and am basing a lot of my custom work on the overall look of yours. I'll have a some noticeable differences, but I want this streamline look. What size tank lift did you do?
It's got a 1.5" lift.
love the graphics on tank and rear fender stripes, would love that on my 48
Bad ass! Great job!!!!
Very very nice!!!!
awesome custom bike man i want to do a little more work on my 97 harley sporster 1200 bike as well.
Beautiful, Damn fine job!!!!!!!!
Immaculate!
Wow, that looks mean!!!!
First of all that is a sick lookin bike. Second, I wrecked my nightster a couple of days ago and im in the process of replacing parts and trying a new feel to it. I probably missed it somewhere where did you get the speedo from?
The speedo itself is an original Harley part, the mount is made by Roland Sands.
かっこいい👌ベルトチェーンが剥き出しなところが気に入った。
beautifully simple.
Damn nice! Subscribed, just one question; what sprocket cover is that?
Love the bike
Sweet bike mate
Thank you!
Crazy beautiful!! So insane!!
Awesome looking bike. Love the chin spoiler. Where did u pick it up? You mentioned you had to do some modifications? Was it difficult?
Nice work!
Did you get away with existing control cables when you fitted the drag bar or did you have to replace them?
Very cool machine, love the rear fender work.
Really nice line with that seat. Looks like I'm off to start spending some cash.
Used stock lenght to begin with, but recently changed the clutch cable to a couple inches shorter. It's got to make a quite brutal first bend down from the grip, so a bit shorter than stock is good. No problems with the throttle and brakes though.
Thanks, it's next on my list
Nice looking Nightster :)
Masterpiece!
Great looking bike!
Nice bike bro 👍 Where did you get those indicator and new switches.. they are cool man!!!! I hate the stock bulky ones
I am loving it🥰🥰
O my god! Is beatifull!!!
Outstanding mods. Really nicely done.
Inspirational is the word I think when I watch this video. My hat's off to ya. May I ask where you acquired the front and rear turn signals? Thank you and,,,,well jealousy is the second word I can think of. Matt

Fredrik Joberger Thank you sir! I'll tell them you sent me if you like when I check out.
Allen Rodriguez: It's not that hard, you just need a bit of patience.
Cut off the excess bits with a dremel (the easy part), then reshape it with a heat gun to make it fit the frame properly (the patience part).
If you're too easy with the heat gun, the plastic won't soften enough to reshape it, but if you're too eager with it, the plastic will go liquid on you.
I pretty much worked a whole day to get mine the way I wanted it, but I still had to use filler on some spots to make it even.
+Matthew VandenBush : It's usually sold as a "EVO chin fairing", made for older Sportsters. Sadly out of stock at all dealers I know of.
What can I say that already hasn't been said, definitely the best Nightster I've seen!! Love it! I noticed in the video you have the evo chin fairing which to date are out of stock and not available until 2017! :( (searched & searched) In your fb pics posted below I noticed a different chin fairing. Can you please tell me which one it is and curious if you would be at all willing to please sell the evo one? Thanks! Bike is badass!
Fredrik, the bike looks fantastic. Where can I buy the chin fairing? It looks great.
GBchannel out of stock everywhere I’ve looked. Google “sportster evo chin spoiler”
Cheers Fred. One more question if you don't mind. Did you go for the performance machine throttle housing single cable threaded hole? Cheers
No, I got dual cables.
Very, Very Cool…thanks for sharing….
