These songs are so good now after I took a long break from them. I never appreciate the lyricism when I was 10 years old, but now that I’m older the songs hit different. One of the most underrated bands imo

@@michaelgray9674This takes me back to my mid 20s. I’m 42 (oof) 😅 Finally got to see them live in 2016 for their 10 year anniversary at Boardwalk in Sacramento, CA. They played this whole album and still sounded nearly just like this in a tiny venue.
First verse of this song is amazing. Genius band.

this makes me think of this girl in a book i read who could heal and bring back the dead but everytime she healed she lost a bit of her soul and went crazy it caused her depression she was cutting she needed to be put on medication for her depression she couldnt heal the medicine blocked her magic and she would wake up at night crying yearning for the magic wishing she could heal all the wrongs in the world. It was a really good book n part of a good series... just sayin it reminds me of that

Well, there is two ways to really interpret this in my eyes. This is either religious, or it is explaining the government. See the Fake, meaning the poiticians that are shaking the hands, but lying to each and every one of us. Which would explain every lyric. The resurrection in this case being the rebirth of a term. I tend to go in the religious direction because I am a Christian but there is more than one way to look at this.
think its both. Fake Christians are politicians, seeking praise of their constituents.
I grew up singing and sk8ing to this...I'll never forget this band.

Exactly! There's so many arguments and supports for either side, it's really just what you believe in. I wish people would keep more too themselves and just have basic morals that this generation seems to be missing.

He's talking about how people (or someone in particular) speaks on things they can't prove but remain secretive about the facts. And the ultimate question is will it end. Based on how he mentions "between the resurrection and the prophesy unborn" his question is directed toward religion. And the answer is yes. Eventually all things will come to an end after the tribulation. But the good news is born again Christians will inherit the kingdom of God.

To each their own...but can christians prove truths? What is truth?? Is it true that "born again Christian's" will go to some place they are promised by a book or by some preacher/pastor? What are the arguments made that born again christian's go to a type of heaven if they abide by certain criteria, and what makes those things truths? Is it simply because of peraonal beliefs? Fear? Cultural beliefs? Social? Or is it absolute truth?

well religious or not, all I wish tio comment on is it's a powerful song and i enjoy it. i think music is to be interpreted how you personally choose. Well my original comment was making fun of all the people who made comments about supposed "miracles", which you would realize if you actually read it, and then you came along and said one of the few things you should never say to me. So since you gave no response whatsoever except to dance around what I said, I'm through with continuing this. I enjoy the music fine, and now that I've said what I have to say I doubt I'll be using this video to listen anymore so I can avoid this conversation. :)

I'm an Atheist. Does that mean you hate me? I'm open about it and I'm proud of it, but I also respect people's religions because those are their beliefs. And being an Atheist doesn't mean we're "empty" inside, it doesn't mean we "want to feel empty." I know for a fact that being an Atheist does not make me feel empty, if anything it makes me feel better inside then I did when I thought God existed. When I believed in God I was blindly following religion, now I am my own person and I feel better.
