I know, right? Have you ever had a friend who others ask, 'why are you two friends?' when they don't get the chemistry? It's not a sex thing more like a left brain, right brain bizarre journey.
A Polish guy i work with has alcoholic candies in his cubicle. They are dark chocolate with straight up vodka inside them. I asked him how to eat them because I struggled like you all did. He said your supposed to pop the whole thing in your mouth and start chewing. It really wasn't too bad, the chocolate overwhelmed the vodka and it tasted good.

Lena needs to be in more of these vids, she is an absolute hoot to watch. I can't imagine being charming enough that people want to watch me eat snacks, but she certainly has that charm.

There was a small Polish/European grocery store near my old apartment. I went in one day and got some of these types of chocolates mix and match style. The chocolate covered cherries I got had literally a shot of vodka in each of them and I swear I got a bit turnt after only two of them!
When I was around 12ish, my mum got a box of brandy bean chocolates one Christmas. That same Christmas was a banner year for Barbies for me, including a kitchen set that conveniently had clear plastic martini glasses...which were promptly filled with brandy after I bit the end off a pilfered bean. I learned that liqueur is sticky, and I don't like brandy. 😄
I'm just gonna say what we all know in our hearts: the Irish are the only ppl in the entire universe, who can make being total pervs look utterly adorable. LOLOL

My friend used to get little chocolate bottles of liqueurs for X-mas every year. He wasn't too fond of the Grand Marnier ones, so I was always happy to take them off his hands.

Banana candies are meant to taste like Gros Michel bananas which 100 years ago were all anyone ate. After the Panama disease killed off the world's bananas we were left with Cavendish bananas.
Tl;dr banana candy tastes like bananas, while bananas taste like the post apocalyptic leftover fruit that they are.
