- These are the old Christmas commercials from the 1990's that all Millennials, Generation Xers and Baby Boomers will remember fondly. It is a bit sad to think about how many of these brands and stores are either no longer around or don't do a ton of advertising anymore.

So what is your favorite 90's Christmas commercial? Leave a comment below and let us know!
I can't remember, but I have a question if that's ok: Is the order of these chronological, random, or from the same year?
🎄 it's so hard to decide which one is my favorite Christmas commercial,
There are way too many good ones out plus there's way too many good ones too. I'm just going to cut straight through the middle here, they're all my favorites. good times and good memories plus good entertainment too.
My personal favorite is the eat n park Christmas tree commercial where the tree helps the star get on top of the tree
@@kristenkinnan4943
👍🏻👍🏻
The Ronald snowman is my favorite!
Im 41, i miss these beautiful 90s holiday commercials. Back in the 90s i miss how Christmas wasnt so commercialized and it was about family, peace, the real meaning for Christmas. Now all i see is boring shopping commercials, nothing really to make me feel the Christmas spirit like i did in the 90s.
It was commercial back then too. I mean you literally just watched commercials selling you things.
Funny how back when they were new I'd skip them without a second thought. Now here I am 30 years later watching them with a tear in my eye lol. Life is crazy
Same here.
Yup!
How do you skip without a subscription? Did you record all your tv on VHS?

@@soares5792 Ah I see!
The “he does exist/they do exist” m&m commercial takes me right back, man. They must’ve played that one a lot.
They still play it to this day
Ah, the good old '90s...when you had to go to a store to buy your Christmas gifts.
so nice to have had heartwarming commercials back then. Now it's all prescription meds and phone plans.
Insurance too
Lol😂…no kidding…the weirdly named prescription medication that “may” have 1000 side effects and will kill you one way or another.
The 1990s was one of the greatest decades for movies and commercials apparently
Apparently, yeah.
80's were pretty damn good.
Very True💯♥️
I miss blockbuster. It was fun to go in and pick out a movie to take home.
You are so right 😊
I miss the old days and i miss the way restaurants used to be.😢
The kid eating campbell's soup melting from a snowman back into a kid, all these 7up commercials remind me of thumbs up 7up in school
No one noticed Bryan Cranston in the JC Penny commercial? Not only is he an amazing actor, his hustle and determination to make it to where he is today is inspirational.
I saw him and scrolled through the comments real quick to see if anyone mentioned it yet. Your comment is spot on.
Man....this hit pretty hard.
We had no idea how good we had it back then.
The weekend after Christmas, my parents letting us rent a Genesis game from Blockbuster....the best of times.
13:10 The fact that this and the kisses commercial are still running to this day shows how ICONIC these commercials have become. And in my mind, they act as a way to kick off the holiday season.
That and they also decided to upgrade that classic commercial that’s been tradition for about 30-40 years now
@@jerramaurice7836 Right? And they made a sequel to the M&Ms one. How many commercials do we know that end up getting SEQUELS?
Yes 13:10 is still how I know it’s time each year 😊
Those Toy Story puppets from Burger King were a freaking must have.
Man there was something special about that coke commercial and I always got excited going to grocery store and santa was starting to pop up on the coke cans you knew christmas was around the corner.....
The '90's was the best decade for the reason things made more sense than today. I grew up in the '90's. I got my wife watching shows I grew up with from the '90's. It was the last real decade before the towers fell and things went down the toilet. There was more innovation and most importantly. if you were a kid in the '90's, you had it good.
Why aren't commercials like this anymore? These commercials always made me nostalgic and happy. Today's commercials make me cringe and roll my eyes.
its literally nostalgia. I do not know why people cannot separate nostalgia from reality. you have memories of this when you were young, your brain is going to make it feel warm to you. That's all it is. People who did not grow up in this era will think these commercials suck
@@user-fx1vh6jw1x
I was more referring to the prevalence of today's commercials that don't feel like they have any soul anymore. Instead most commercials today are trying to be like viral videos, by overusing weird and random tropes in order to look interesting. It's a strategy that is known as "oddvertising" and in more recent years it's just become blatantly bizarre.
Now everything is Black Worship. Sad
Like everything nowadays
I actually agree with you! Yes, part of it is most likely “nostalgia” but we gotta admit these commercials are awesome & pretty creative! And you’re right.. they don’t make cozy commercials like this anymore. So it’s a mix of both!! Nostalgia for a simpler and better time AND bad ass holiday commercials!!
The 90s was an amazing time. Amazing music and tv. I was a kid and teenager then. My kids wish they could have lived then.
And the music! My stepdaughter listens to more 90s music than she does today's music
Ninety’s we’re ok the 80’s were better!!
Back when Fred and Barney argued over whose Fruity Pebbles it was. Nowadays, the commercial would have them identifying as "fruity pebbles" and holding hands😂
Bro, facts.
0:00- 7 up
0:32 - Apple COmputer
1:42 BlockBuster
2:42 Burger King Puppets
3:44 Snowman Soup
4:16 KFC
4:40 Cereal
5:29 Coca Cola
KFC? That was an add for Hot Cocoa.
These old commercials just have a magical touch to them. Seemingly unpolitical, not trying to be sexy, or modern, just traditional. Love it.
Exactly
Perfectly stated! 90s and older commercials are just calming and comforting, and often times cute and charming. If there was a way to replace the modern commercials with 90s and older commercials whenever I watch TV or listen to Spotify, I'd be so much happier and way less stressed and depressed!
Facts bro 😎
As a kid of the 90's, these commercials always put a smile on my face. It's so sad we don't get to see commercials like these anymore. Now everything is all about the commercialization of the holidays and normalized consumerism. It's not what the holidays themselves are about.
No. It's wokeism destroying the holidays.
These commercials really gave you a Christmas spirit and it made you buy the product as well.
I'm surprised the Hershey's kisses and M&M's Christmas commercials still exist today.
Hershey kiss one has been reshot multiple times and changes very slightly every time. There's a video playing them all in a row its pretty cool
Also the Cadbury egg.
The Campbell's soup one was one for forever.
These TV Commercials brings back wonderful memories I really miss the old days . Fantastic Video!!!!!!!!!
My favorite Christmas commercial of all time is the iconic eat n park Christmas tree commercial, it’s so nostalgic
I may have watched some of these and seriously cried from the nostalgia haha!
That’s what i do 😂😂❤❤
If 3 decade old holiday marketing makes you cry, then you really should reevaluate what is important to ya.
@@ranchdressing1037 "if 3 decade old holiday marketing..." mind your own business troll.
@@ranchdressing1037it made me tear up too - nothing wrong with that, it's called nostalgia- plus, the current world is a shit show.
It's sooo funny to me! I hate commercials now as an adult, but I could watch these all day long. The nostalgia is ineffable, a time when things made sense, boys were boys and girls were girls. There wasn't all this abhorrent BS in society. Oh, if I could only go back in time!!!
I'd rather watch these on repeat, than see one more Liberty insurance commercial with the Emu and the idiot
Amen!
Christmastime in the 90s were so magical in that time. I do miss Blockbuster Video, Toys R Us, even classic commercials like those. However, Pizza Hut, Burger King brings back nostalgia and Toys R Us comes back thanks to Macy’s. Thanks for posting and Merry Christmas. 🎄🎁 🎅
To think these are 30 years old... :( I can't believe I stared singing to the Fruity Pebbles... LOL
I have to watch this to feel like a kid again, because coke doesn't have ANYMORE Christmas commercials.
The Hersheys Kisses bells have always been my favorite. ☃️🎄📯🔔
Nothing beats a blunt and 90s commercials 👌🏽
I mean nothing.
🎄❤️❤️
Wow ..lol I choked on smoke reading this comment ..cheers my friend
@@antwanfarmer8448 I swear bro it's the best
@@blackway643 I could watch em all day
"I got in, I got out, nobody got hurt" takes on a whole new meaning when you consider that's a young Walter White.
Coke cola trucks commercial was my favorite, along with m&m ,7up and fruity pebbles. What ever happened to the 7up little guys??
I remember growing up with these holiday commercials, I was a teen back then, now I am 48, what the F*** happened? Wheres did time go?
I'm 45 and feel the same, wish i could go back in time
My favorites were the Campbell's soup and the Carnation hot cocoa commercials. Something about the theme of a snow day or a sick day staying home from school in the winter, just says cozy & nostalgic to me.
The Macintosh computer one at the beginning made me laugh though. We were always a Microsoft family but that was a good one.
I always liked the Cool Spot commercials and Hess truck commercials
I would always beg my parents to buy me a Hess truck or a car or whatever but they never could afford it so I would just dream about it but I’d love their commercials they were really beautifully put together
@@stickwithjen8778 I was able to get a fire truck which got lost and the 1991 truck which I still have. Looking at the prices it went up a dollar every year till today.
So sad oh how I missed the 90s.
I was vibing and then they snuck one of those dirty modern day commercials into my commercials. I tell ya I hate commercials.
I miss these times I wish I could go back. The world seems so different now a days
I used to hate commercials and now im here watching em chasing a feeling lol
Nostalgia overload 😂💯❤️
God how I miss these days❤
So wild to hear the jingles and the way they advertised then compared to 2023 & notice no online stuff clogging up the whole process
I miss the 90’s dawg 😢😢😢
Commercials aren’t like they used to be, now they all have something in common and it’s difficult to watch.
Love the coke bears
Now we just have cocaine bears
The first one for 7-Up is one of my all-time favorites!
During December, I wish they could play all these Christmas commercials back on television again. Miss them and I enjoy them as well. Good times and great memories.
Is that Bryan Cranston in the JCPenney commercial? 😅
Christmas commercials were so wholesome and whimsical back in the day, and gave you a warm fuzzy feeling. Now they use politically correct footage with actors dressed in bling, with purple hair, dancing to club music.
I still have one of those Woody toys fromBurger King. It's almost 30 years old.
The good old days
The glory days of commercials, we will never have commercials like these anymore. These made me happy, todays commercials make me depressed so I mute the tv.
Cookie Crisp cereal!! ❤️❤️
Thanks for posting….. Memories 🎅🤶👍🏻
Ah to be happy and carefree again!
Man humanity really peaked in the 90s.
When you have to get through modern advertisements just to watch classic advertisements…
I miss Blockbuster!!!!
I spent 5 years working there, including on Christmas Day, and I miss it too! A simpler time indeed.
These are awesome, thanks for sharing.
Although, some of these are pre-90s. 😉
I miss Kmart.
I actually saw this cereal in the thumbnail at the store the other day. Same name and everything
I am freaked out to tell you I remember pretty much all of these! Watched a lot of local television we didn’t have cable and these were on a lot in Christmas. My favorite was the Hershey kisses and Eminem commercials. There are a lot of McDonald commercials and they’re so sentimental but I love them all.
9:45 The late, great, Ken Nordine! Wish I could go back 30 years and be in my 20's again. See the grandparents and aunts and uncles, go Christmas shopping at Sears or JC Penney or K-mart, buy gas for a Buck and a bottle of beer for .50 cents, go out to Xmas parties with the buddies. No cell phones, no internet. Damn I might shed a tear...
90s was the best!
Captain Crunch jingle bell rocks? Kids of the 90s were subjected to some experimental stuff in their cereal haha
Was that Brian Cranston in the JC Penney ad?
I was fin to ask the same question
He DID do some Penneys ads, as I recall.@@jerramaurice7836
Hey kids, those things the size of books in the Blockbuster commercials are movies called VHS.
The Golden Days, when everything or everyone wasn't crazy or had the problems today society has!
Can we go back to the 90s?
I had all theToy Story puppets!
Bryan Cranston 11:10 TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT
Love that line. “I got in. I got out. Nobody got hurt.” 😏
1990 Christmas
I'm not American and was only born in 1997, but compared to today, Christmas in the USA in the 90s was probably the most magical time ever. Cuddly, peaceful, carefree, apolitical/"modern" and happy. I would love to experience such a great time and atmosphere again...
I miss those years 😂 I just want to back in time
Travis Kelce wasn’t in a single one of these commercials. How I miss those days.
🤔 hmmmmmmm. it's hard to say which is my favorite Christmas commercials from the 1990's. to be fair here, they're all so good and it's hard to choose one.
The best!!
STILL AWESOME AF
There's something warm, cozy, and innocent about most 90s and older commercials. I honestly hate most modern commercials. They're mostly all about drugs, medicine, insurance, political stuff, smartphones, rushing from one thing to the next, and making money. And they're always depressing or trying too hard to sound/look sexy somehow or be edgy and overly modern. There are hardly any more cute, innocent commercials that show families and kids, unless you're watching a kids/family targeted channel.
Pay attention to who's in them.... there's a reason you like these better, and it isn't just nostalgia.
The Hershey kiss commercial has been running for eons now. The EatnPark commercial should be on this list too
I missed Blockbuster.
I love the hershey kiss commerical
Was waiting for the Gap commercial with the girl Rock band playing I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus. I had such a crush on the one in the pink sweater. (I was exactly their age when it came out)
Those were the days
Make it a BLOCK BUSTER HOLIDAY 😆
The transition from Jesus Christ to corporate marketing is absolutely fascinating.
Apple has been throwing shade for decades😂
I’m getting ready to cry 😢 I really am
Memories.
I forgot sprint mobile was a thing
oh,my goodness, i had forgotten the 7-up dots
I never realized the upside-down Coca-Cola glass the 7up dots carved lol. I was early teens when this came out, pretty sly @ the un cola
I like the computer commercial!
I’m shocked there aren’t people in the comments informing us they were in these commercials back in the day 😂 what happened to all the actors
Love the 1990
I wish they still can do the booklets
