I feel like abstract painting has no “how to” you just do whatever you feel is right. Whatever comes to your heart and mind. There’s just a bunch of cool techniques you can use to enhance your ideas

Tutorials exist so that people may get used to the things theyre doing. They can make their own stuff, but might wanna learn how everything else works first.

EDIT: There's a lot of confusion in the chat for some reason. Look at the end product again. Is it not pleasing to the eye? I think that's what art is all about. It's not like I know what abstract art is either. It's just that all the techniques used payed off.

This is the ONLY abstract painting that I've seen that actually looked good to me.
Check out Mark Rothko. His art is easy to understand and I feel like it's a good way to start the journey with abstract art

Hey u have amazing work...I love to watch your painting videos...
Would you like explain about your equipment you used for painting...as I found you use different painting brush.
It amazes me that u dont run out of ideas for your paintings and always end up with something new. I noticed whenever I once paint im always taking the same colours or end up with similar combinations...a piece très jolie as always!
It's normal, it's even like you do, you have to work.
As I teach classes and have a CZcams channel, I try to vary as much as possible.
But if you look closely at the work of the artists (look at Pierre Soulages) they very often do the same thing to follow through on their ideas.
I do a little bit of that, but with a wide variety of ideas.
Everything still remains in the same style.
So you do the right thing ;)

I definitely need a canvas, every time i paint i use a normal paper. Thats why its so difficult to blend in a normal paper because its so thin. U need a water to blend but i just cant use water cuz the paper might break

Yup...but my parents wont allow me to buy a canvas...they said its probably a waste of money if we buy a canvas...
KeyEm GGamer yea but he is dry blending with a big brush. I agree canvas is better. Try wood with white gesso that works well too. Do what you can until you can buy your own stuff

How do you make the black lines? Do you use liquid acrylic, liquid acrylic with pouring medium, or some other mix?
