    I have a 2013 Mazda 3 with high mileage that was working fine then out of the blue when I started it the check engine light came on along with the AT light and the light with the skid marks and noticed hard upshifts,downshifts and delayed shifts, pulled over and checked fluid levels and leaks but all was good, made it about 10 miles to home and a few days later removed the battery cables for a while then reconnected and the lights went away even after driving it for a few days and seemed to shift normal again. I was thinking it was a fluke but decided to get a scanner to check it out and when I hooked it up all of the lights returned and the U101011 lost communication with TCM code came up so after a quick search I found you guys and decided to remove it (which wasn't really too difficult) and send it your way, keeping my fingers crossed!

      What year is your Mazda CX-7? When it’s stuck in 3rd gear it usually indicates it’s in limp mode. Please perform a hard battery reset and check the condition of the transmission fluid. If the issue is still present after the reset, please scan and provide codes. If you’ve checked everything on your end, we can perform a diagnostic on the TCM.

    I have a 2008 Mazda 3 that recently started having shifting issues, but the AT light is not on. The worst problem is we can be driving 65 MPH (In 5th gear) and all of a sudden load bang happens, like bucking bulll, and the AT light comes on, the engine revs like it is out of gear then a split second later all is fine. Could that be the TCM? We have engine light with small and large vacuum leaks so I am not sure it is related to that. Maybe try to fix those codes before sending the TCM in? Or do you guys do a diagnoses on the TCM and can see something is wrong?

    Hello, i hvae a 2010 Mazda premacy with 5 speed transmission with tiptronic issue-slowing down to turn, or go over a speed bump, or come to an intersection (not stopping totally to 0 mph), then then later accelerating, the transmission is in 3rd gear. Then it lags and slowly accelerates through 15+ mph. The result: poor acceleration. When i switch to manual mode i see it is in 3rd gear? To overcome this i would have to press the gas pedal very hard for it to downshift and then it shoots. Is this normal ?

    • @upfixauto
      @upfixauto  Před 5 měsíci

      It could very well be the TCM itself, especially if your TCM is within the year range where the TCM is physically mounted to the transmission, which for 2010, that should be the case. This TCM is commonly known to fail due to its location.
      I would suggest getting your vehicle scanned with an OBDII tool that has the capability to communicate with the TCM. See what codes it's showing you, and then check the link below to see if those codes match up with what we can fix.

    • @upfixauto
      @upfixauto  Před 5 měsíci

      Silicone conformal coatings are preferred in the automotive industry due to their excellent flexibility, moisture protection, and thermal resistance. They form a protective barrier that is flexible, which is particularly beneficial for components that may experience thermal expansion or mechanical stress.
      Silicone conformal coatings are applied as a liquid and then cured to form a gel-like, rubbery layer. The curing process can be accelerated by heat or may occur at room temperature, depending on the formulation.
      These coatings are known for their ability to provide long-term protection even under harsh conditions, making them ideal for automotive electronics that must operate reliably in a wide range of environmental conditions.

      Hey I have a 2010 Mazda 5 My problem is sometimes not always It's hard to drive from 2nd gear to 3rd gear, suddenly it can't shift into reverse gear I tried to connect the computer to check for faults but unfortunately the fault computer is not able to enter the gear computer at all, it simply does not read it. Could it be that all the problems are related to a broken tcm gear computer? Is this the symptoms? Or is it a mechanical problem?

      Yes this is a common with Mazda 3 and Mazda 5. Usually these are the first signs of TCM failure. The transmission is good, its just the TCM. We do have these in stock
