I'm amazed by set designers- it looks so lived in! The tiniest details- nothing looks new or like it was just constructed, it all looks grubby and weather-worn, like its been there for years and years! It must have felt so immersive so walk into the republic of pirates for work. Thank you for sharing Samba!

OMG the sets are beyond amazing - the team that put all of it together deserve all of the money and awards!! These BTS videos and all the other generously shared photos and vids have been an absolute delight - as much as I enjoyed S2, I did feel like there was so much action that I barely had time to appreciate the detail of the OFMD world that was built in NZ. Wish we could get director’s cuts of each episode to really appreciate all of the effort everyone put in!!

Such amazing detail went into this set, thank you so much for showing it off! I'm amused by the amount of "in situ" skeletons; before they were cool skeletons, they were amazingly foul-smelling corpses, so I'm surprised they'd manage to stick around through that phase. Perhaps we can infer something about the strength of the other odors in town from this? Delicious soup masks putrid decomposition?
