Not just a great band and great recording... It's fucking outstanding and deserves best performance award of every genre. These guys speak straight from the soul.
2007 may have been my first as well. By accident actually, haha. Glad it happened. Girlfriend at the time tried to buy tickets to my then favorite band, but confused soilwork and swallow the sun. Showed up not knowing them, left as a fan, with eyes opened to a genre i hadn't listened to before. There's not many bands i listened to then whose new releases i still keep up with. Powerful songs
I already knew some of their work but without a doubt I became a fan after Moonflowers which for me is the best album of 2021.

Still super bummed I missed this show. What a killer setlist. I had covid so bad there were a couple of times I thought I might not wake up if I fell asleep. From the video it looks like it wasn't a very good turnout, but I can't tell for sure. Appeared to be a semi dead crowd too. The last time I saw StS was in 2010 with Katatonia and Orphaned Land @ Station 4 (RIP). That was one absolutely amazing show!
They’re doing another american tour. Gonna see them in El Paso, Texas for a third time in September.
