      Irrespective of the score line, I thought this Winston guy played well. Alot of close rallies. Just a case of losing to a 5.0+ guy.

    Hey Dylan, love this type of content. As a tennis player, I love the voiceover and then the debrief afterwards because of the insight it gave into how things shifted during the match, the adjustments you made etc. I've seen your videos come up all the time on my feed/shorts and just subbed! Not trying to tell you what to do or anything like that but if you have an opportunity to play more matches or do VOD reviews of existing amateur matches (maybe Winston's stuff?), that'd be awesome!

    Love your content and love watching everything both you and @winstondu put out there! :) I demoed the Wilson Blade v9 18x20 from the USOpen proshop and really liked the control and feel of the racquet so I bought one. The proshop strung the demo racquet at a whopping 58lbs. Really not sure what string and tension to get for my new racquet so I went with your exact configuration (ALU Power Rough @54lbs - first time using these strings; typically I go with Solinco Confidential @ 52lbs). Unfortunately, I've noticed that I'm not getting the same control and feel as the demo. Unlike the demo racquet, the ball launches a bit higher (less ball pocketing?) and long when I fully swing out. Do I need to break in the strings? I also feel a bit of arm discomfort (golfer's elbow - inside tendon and a little tennis elbow - outside tendon) after playing out a full match. (I'm in NYC and play both indoor and outdoor.) Do you feel anything similar with your Blade? Do you have any suggestions on how to dial in the power? I was previously using Ezone and it was too powerful. Later, I played with the Head Extreme Tour with a bit of weight added at 12 o'clock and really liked it. Also curious what you think about the v9 after a few weeks of play. Thanks!

    Both hit really well for the level they are currently in!! In depth, I would say that i would like to hit with both of you. Dylan has very aggressive strokes, however it rely too much on the stretches that deform on pressure, e.g. lower back. Winston simply need to hit more confident and hit harder and let go, similar to what Karue taught him months ago. Great games!

    How do you like the 18x20 Blade especially coming from a Pure Drive? Did you also consider the 16x19 Blade? Great video!

    • @Tenniswithdylan
      @Tenniswithdylan  Před 5 měsíci +1

      I love the control that it provides me, the pure drive is very powerful but lacked big time in the feel department. The Blade is more a controlled racket, I will give the 16x19 string pattern a go soon.
