Tom is definitely lying. The popular theory at the moment is that it's related to Jensen. Like perhaps, Tom is forced to avoid recoupling with Jake to protect him and Miriam from Jensen.

I feel like fiore was only in this season for Ashley’s payback because other than that fiore had no real impact on the game. there were minor interactions with Alec but that was about it
She was a little gremlin and I think that was enough. Her reading Jake to FILTH before leaving was everything tbh

I like Tom and Jake and admit a part of me wants to see them get together, but am I alone in thinking their plot arc has been fairly lacklustre this season? Like, the only thing interesting about their characters is this manufactured tension between them. I also get why they had Ashley have her own thing with Ally so she wouldn't be a substitute Miriam, but on Tom's end Aiden just seems like such a mid character only used in the Tom-Jake drama... also sad that Connor's actually gone lol.

Tom has no reason to lie about being in a relationship, and if he did so, what ? He doesn't wanna be with Jake he doesn't have to be. I don't think he's lying. If he was lying, why tell Aiden ? If he was single and didn't want to get back together, he would've just said that. Why wait so long to tell Jake ? It's a cartoon, lots of drama
In my opinion, Tom is lying to Jake, again. Is he able to lie to Jake, so as not to tell him the truth, just as they didn't see his body language? Even his expressions, it is noticeable that it is a lie, also why would you worry so much about him? Honestly, Tom hides something and doesn't want to say it.
