    Nice work..looks nice the forniture. How old is it. Napoleon 3 or older. I like your description of your work. You know your job. Thanks for sharing

      Thanks for the visit Bruno. It is a 19th century reproduction. Judging by the cabinet work I would say it was made around 1860 ish. Never the less it's a well crafted cabinet in the Boulle style.

    More often than not Victorian pieces like this were made from clarified horn with faux spots painted on. An excellent substitute. Anyone that uses sea turtle (it’s not tortoise) in this day and age has lost their humanity.

    Good.mornig to every one. I did live a note yesterday but the gentlemen on the video as not see my.message. does any body know about the period of this peace of forniture. The reason is because some one as one similar and they are going to kill the.peace looks like i would love to.save it and leave it thw way it is . No one would be able to fix it in a trillion years . I m not in europe and no one could and would not trust any one. What should i offer it is missing parts and normal dammage. I felt.sorry.for.it im a colector and savier if i can. Felt sorry for.the forniture and thenoerson that made it. I hope you andestamd howmi felt. Esxpecially afther seeing this gentlement working on this twin of the one here in the usa
