Hi everyone in this video we have covered "Lahiri Babar Ashram" in Bandel which opened for the first time after Lockdown (March 2020) this Sunday (28/03/2021).
Rajhat is a village of Hooghly district located in West Bengal. It is famous for Lahiri Temple, situated parallel to GT Road, behind Arabinda Petrol Pump on Bandel- Pandua connector road.
This temple is a classic mix of culture, tradition, and religion. You can find similarities with many temples around India.
You can go from Bandel Station or by car/motorbike. The journey from Bandel Station itself is a mind freshening one. The cool breeze, the shady roads, and a touch of rural Bengal will put you in a state of divine peace.
After lock-down, they are maintaining total sanity. You have to pass through the temperature checking process followed by a sanitary gateway. The best time to visit is the afternoon when the sun is about to set. Once the sun has set you can see lights lighting up the whole area and the "Sondha Aroti" in front of the main temple. It resembles a bit about "Haridwar". So overall it can be in your bucket list for a weekend tour.

মন্দির এখন বিকেল ৪টে থেকে ৫টা খোলা থাকছে। Double vaccination er certificate দেখালে তবেই মন্দিরের গেট দিয়ে প্রবেশ করতে দিচ্ছে। তবে মূল মন্দিরের ভেতরে ঢুকে ঠাকুর দেখতে দেওয়া হচ্ছে না। মন্দিরে ভোগ বন্টন বন্ধ আছে।

আরতি কি হচ্ছে না বন্ধ এক্ষণ?
5 টায় মন্দির বন্ধ হলে আরতি কি করে দেখা যায়?
মন্দিরে আরতি হচ্ছে কিন্তু মন্দির ৫টার সময় বন্ধ হয়ে যায় বলে visitors রা দেখতে পাবেন না।
আর একটা কথা, টাইমিং কি 2-4 pm এর জায়গায় 4-5 pm হয়েছে?

We had very bad experience, first they restricted to enter ashram.We were not allowed to roam around.When we returned at gate,some goons were ask for money,we ask for what? They said parking ,we ask the receipt, they refused to give.Then they threatened, they will flatten tire, abused us.Said you can travel in four wheel,but don't want to spend money.This is ridiculous. Only WB is like this.

শিয়ালদহ থেকে শিয়ালদহ Burdwan local ধরে সরাসরি Bandel চলে আসা যায়। কিন্তু এখন মন্দির বন্ধ আছে।
