- Today I'm designing a living room using only products from Ikea. Let's see if we can make a space feel modern, cozy, and well-designed only by shopping at Ikea. Plus, we're keeping it on the budget as much as possible
I'm taking you through the whole process, of how I design the space from start to finish, and I'll show you how I think and combine the pieces of furniture to fit together. And I'll be adding a total cost in the end, so STAY TUNED!

IKEA has some interesting textiles and rugs that I have used instead of their artwork. I framed part the marimekko robe to compliment the towels in a bathroom.

Hahaha I'm so glad you liked the finished product 🥰 I honestly love how it turned out too. Also, it's easy to do it if you know a bit of Photoshop. I did the mood board in canva and then transferred everything to Photoshop where I made the final photo. I'm sure there are better ways to do it, but I am satisfied ☺️

I used Canva whiteboard and Adobe Photoshop for the final product 🥰
Please do different designs for rooms of various sizes. For example 2m*4m vs. 3m*5m , or in feet it would be 7 ft by 12 ft vs. 10 ft by 16 ft. You get the idea :)

I'm a new subscriber. I loved watching you piece together a living room using only Ikea products. I felt your frustration with their poor artwork selection but you made a good choice and brought in a little taste of colour. I'd love to see you do other rooms in a house.

3D has nothing to do with AI. I used the IKEA kitchen planner tool, with that you can put all the furniture in the room, move it around, turn the whole room 360° in any direction. You can also take a picture of your real home and then place furniture in there virtually. AI on the other hand would be you talking to it and then it figures out that you need a blue rug because your grandfather played the saxophone. Yet it's not just a pattern where everybody with a saxophone playing grandpa needs blue rugs, no, it learned that from everything you told it and there's no way to figure out how or why it came to that conclusion. People tend to think AI is just a cool version of Siri or Alexa, but it really is on a level beyond human comprehension.

Yes you guessed it! It's Canva for the mood board. However, I used Photoshop for the last reveal shot :)

Hi i know this is off topic, but can i ask why when i use plaster of paris, it harden really fast? Can it be because of my technique or can it be because the plaster is expired?
Hey, well it's not you, it's the plaster 😢 Plaster just hardens really fast, and unfortunately there's nothing you can do. You can maybe try to make it a bit more watery to expand the working time, but it will still harden pretty fast. What I do is work in smaller batches to prevent my plaster from hardening. Also, depending on what you're doing with it you can try using joint compound or drywall mud instead ,they harden slower 🥰 Hope I helped 💞

Hi. You can add white glue and acrylic paint to plaster of Paris and it won't harden so fast.
