      You're welcome this install was quite the job then that darn squirting kept hitting my in the face. Frankly I would never install a windshield on a sport SXS again but if you do I hope this video helped you. Ride safe and in peace.

    Man how in the world did you get to the 4 mounting screw for the water tank after putting the bracket in? I have pretty much zero access to them on my Turbo R. Unfortunately you skipped that part in the video.

      I'm sorry I don't remember...I didn't think it was that hard. I don't remember it being hard. If i can do it I'm sure you can...I thought I reached up from under the machine maybe the wheel wells or hood. Good luck it's been several years since I've had this machine. BTW I regret installing a windshield in our area spring, winter fall it would fog up even with the vent then during the summer it was an oven. But that's me ride safe.

      @@maraudermitchelli maybe it’s different on the Turbo R but it was a booger. I was finally able to secure 3 of 4 screws. Thanks

    Do you remember if the part number for this was 2889750? 2889750 is the part number for pro xp. I ask because yours looks different than the one on polaris website.

      Both windshield and wiper kit are Polaris. Windshield was vented. Honestly sir even during winter I do not like windshields on SXS even this machine. The engine put so much heat in the cockpit it would fog up the windshield 3/4's of the year. I do like SUV's fully inclosed with full Hvac. This unit was better without the windshield, I regretted installing it. I wear the right gear for the day, I also prefer the open view. I hope this helps be safe.

    Is that windshield the Polaris one or an aftermarket? Does it have a vent?

    • @maraudermitchelli
      @maraudermitchelli  Před rokem +1

      Keith it is a Polaris glass windshield. I must say for northeast riding I did not like the windshield on this machine. The cab on this rzr is extremely hot, fall and spring riding the glass fogged up. For muddy conditions the wiper is a must and works very well. If you are set on installing a windshield on a pro i thought this windshield was great quality. I hope this helps you.

      @@maraudermitchelli I’m looking for a kit for the PRO R, I’m hearing it’s different from the XP’s… the reservoir tank can’t be mounted in the same location as it is on an XP because of the belt cooling ductwork.
