- In install the windshield wiper on my Polaris Pro and affirm the quality of this manufacturer and machine. BTW this video was shot a year ago...I think it will help some of you interested in this great machine. Please checkout my book, "Mind Kill, Rise of The Marauder" at Amazon and kindle. Be safe.
Awesome video, thank you
You're welcome this install was quite the job then that darn squirting kept hitting my in the face. Frankly I would never install a windshield on a sport SXS again but if you do I hope this video helped you. Ride safe and in peace.
Great videos; I have been referencing them often in the workshop.
Thank you James you made my day...I hope my videos helped.
Hey Peter you did it awesome job hooking up your wiper looks great awesome video 👍
Thank you Dean. Projects like that help take my mind off of my business on the weekends. Be safe
@@maraudermitchelli Thank you you have a great weekend as well and I’m glad to see your sugar is down that’s awesome and I hope everything is going well with you and your family I know owning your own business couldn’t probably tough and that’s awesome when you do that kind of work does help to take things off your mind 👍
@@deanmoore420 as always thank you
alot of work but a working wiper is worth it good job!
It's a must with this machine, thank you for commenting
Been super busy, I got to get caught up on some videos. I liked the X3 but as always I moved on. Back on a Polaris!
You had the same model I purchased, did you like?
@@maraudermitchelli I did as a whole but super hard to see out of. That thing was super smooth though.
Nice job Pete
Thanks Todd
Man how in the world did you get to the 4 mounting screw for the water tank after putting the bracket in? I have pretty much zero access to them on my Turbo R. Unfortunately you skipped that part in the video.
I'm sorry I don't remember...I didn't think it was that hard. I don't remember it being hard. If i can do it I'm sure you can...I thought I reached up from under the machine maybe the wheel wells or hood. Good luck it's been several years since I've had this machine. BTW I regret installing a windshield in our area spring, winter fall it would fog up even with the vent then during the summer it was an oven. But that's me ride safe.
@@maraudermitchelli maybe it’s different on the Turbo R but it was a booger. I was finally able to secure 3 of 4 screws. Thanks
Do you remember if the part number for this was 2889750? 2889750 is the part number for pro xp. I ask because yours looks different than the one on polaris website.
Both windshield and wiper kit are Polaris. Windshield was vented. Honestly sir even during winter I do not like windshields on SXS even this machine. The engine put so much heat in the cockpit it would fog up the windshield 3/4's of the year. I do like SUV's fully inclosed with full Hvac. This unit was better without the windshield, I regretted installing it. I wear the right gear for the day, I also prefer the open view. I hope this helps be safe.
Is that windshield the Polaris one or an aftermarket? Does it have a vent?
Keith it is a Polaris glass windshield. I must say for northeast riding I did not like the windshield on this machine. The cab on this rzr is extremely hot, fall and spring riding the glass fogged up. For muddy conditions the wiper is a must and works very well. If you are set on installing a windshield on a pro i thought this windshield was great quality. I hope this helps you.
Gettin too modern... Lol.. 👍👍👍

Please tell little man I mention him in the video. I hope you are doing well 🙂
Can you still take off your windshield for summer riding?
Not easy to do...not easy
Who’s wiper kit did you use???
Polaris wiper kit...it works.
@@maraudermitchelli I’m looking for a kit for the PRO R, I’m hearing it’s different from the XP’s… the reservoir tank can’t be mounted in the same location as it is on an XP because of the belt cooling ductwork.
