i agree with you, karla is spontaneous, charming ,and has the x-factor, she deserved to be in the top 3, but making it in the top 5 is truly an excellent job for her, she made my country the philippines proud...!!!! i think the same happened in 2003, when ma. rafaela yunon smashed it in the top 5, they are truly excellent in representing the philippines...!!! filipina beauty is truly world class..!!!! mabuhay ang pilipinas!!!!

Rosana is beautiful during her competition but her final walk is opposite. Tat'ana kucharova for me got improved from her competition to her final walk
I would have chosen miss Philippines over Dominican Republic. Claudia is undoubtedly beautiful but in terms of figure, spontaneity, charm, and x-factor, Karla outdid her. It was just that, the worldwide voting results was followed. I just doubt that this was actually the result of the final tally. Philippines should have been at least in the top 3! Karla Bautista was one of the fiercest contestants from the Philippines!
Same thing the following year, it must have been Carlene Aguilar of the Philippines who really at the top of the worldwide voting but at thelasthour, Julia Morley altered the voting process for the finals! So there you go, it will still be a long way until Philippines wins this Julia-controlled pageant!
