Just reading the comments and the general feeling is that Dr Mulder is "standing on his high horse"... in other words critical of his approach. I don't see it like that... my read of Dr Mulder is that he is far more trustworthy than the DA approach. Feels weird and disappointing. Indeed the examples he gives as reasons for his critique seem just good governance decisions.

On a second level thinking view, the FF+ did the right thing. Power corrupts. The DA is not incorruptible. It would serve our country well if all corrupt / egotistical leaders get the boot, regardless what party they are from. For me that is representing your constituency. The business community in Oudtshoorn for years have boasted that they have their arms elbow deep in the backsides of the council and the DA

My question to oom Corne, and all other politicians for that matter, including the DA, is this:
Everyone talks about the best interests of the people. Everyone.
Why then do ALL politicians, including the DA guys, and yourself, oom Corne, in this very video only ever speak badly of the other parties. And their mistakes? Never do I hear anyone commend another party's achievements. You only point out the flaws.
I absolutely believe that you and Oom Pieter are some of the best this country has and your impact is felt far and wide.
But you cannot deny the massive positive impact the DA has made in all other 99% of their portfolios with their much bigger influence, especially in the WC as a whole. Not you want so shine a spotlight on their mistakes and brand them as a bad party. I believe that we should start taking politics out of politics, and just get on with the work.
Everyone's productivity will probably double if you spend less time pointing fingers at each other in the media and just get on with the work, whether someone else stuffed up or not. Us average Joe's only see results, not speaches. That's where my vote goes, to the guys that got the opportunity and got stuff done.
Take a page out of oom Pieter's book. Niksige strond praat op media nie oor wie se skuld dit is nie. He gets on with the work. The 'influenvers' 🤮 will do that for him.
Same with Dean MacPherson. The only media speaches I hear from him is
    "This is oir mission."
"This is the problems we found."
"This is our POA to fix it."
    Action and transperancy.
